My siblings made the foolish decision to challenge my epic character design squillz superior greatness, in a conversation on the human designs for the teenage mutant ninja turtles. This incarnation is of the Rise of the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles variety, the very best one of all of course. My goal was to capture their personalities as well as a humanized interpretation. I believe I knocked it out of the ballpark, but I have other ideas scurrying around in the back of my brain… If you believe I have achieved my goal, PRAISE ME!! If not, challenge me to give it another go!!

I love him... My sweet sweet ADHD boy...!!! Michelangelo the Mystic Warrior! The poster child of youngest sibling syndrome/ privilege!!
They did such a good job at making him both hilarious as well as the heart of the team, I love his mystic arc and I love his ADHD impulsivity!!! They balanced him well so he's the empath of the group without being a total doormat, nor does he want or need to be coddled by the rest of his family!
And the EMOTIONS THIS ORANGE BOY MADE ME FEEL every time he did things to hold his family together!! 😭😭😭 love him!!! More of him please!!!

He I think was done best of all in the rise series!! I mean COME ON!!! look at him!! He is a self absorbed delight!! And not to mention some of the best written and represented example of low empathy autistic coding I have ever fucking seen on television and that is fantastic!! I love how no matter what he is just him doing his own thing and everyone just loves and accepts him that way, not to mention, HES HILARIOUS!!! for real this soy boy got me spurting soda out my nose nonstop! The braggadocio!! The presentation!!
AND THE SHEER CREATIVITY OF THE GADGETS FINALLY CAUGHT UP WITH HIM!!!! I love how in the series he's a soft shell turtle and so makes tons of varieties of high tech battle shell backpacks such as robo spider limbs and turtle jetpacks to not only compensate, but absolutely enhance his contributions to the team!! (I will always go on record saying that NO version of TMNT would even survive without Donnie.)
His tech bo finally makes sense because it's the ultimate multi tool/weapon!!! He's literally the best Donatello there has ever been and demands the accolades he absolutely deserves! I love how he's full of himself! It brings just so much joy to my heart, watch the show if only but for his scenes if you want some serotonin in your day!!
Words can't say just how much I love this show and especially Donnie's character!!!!
