1982: “Their hear” was the famous line from Steve Spielberg’s movie Poltergeist. The Equal Rights Amendment to the Constitution fails to pass and Steve Miller Band was enjoying success with Abracadabra.
All the while McDonnell Douglas was continuing to build KC-10s Extender, a modified DC-10-30CF, for the U.S. Air Force.
