And I said it in tiktok, but Black Bartosch and Henry are technically the first, potential queer ship in KCD. Not only that, but Bartosch is the first man to not expect anything out of Henry, nor require anything of Henry. His relationship with Henry is purely beneficial to Henry. Even when they're on opposite sides, Bartosch never leverages their coupling against Henry.

Every single person Henry's with (with the exception of Teresa, perhaps) expects something of him. Whether it's to do a task, whether it's protection, etc., He is used to some extent with his other romantic options, even when they are well meaning.

Bartosch is unique in the sense that he doesn't require anything of Henry, and that his time with Henry centers Henry and his wellbeing.

People have been nasty to the Bartosch x Henry ship, but realistically, Bartosch is an interesting, selfless individual for Henry to be with. In future game, I hope we get to see their relationship expanded on (if we get future games).

I think for fans who value Henry's happiness and central wellbeing, Bartosch isn't a bad option.
