An Act of Courage
An Act of Courage (Acts of Honor #4)
by K.C. Lynn
“She´s my anchor, my light
My salvation in the night
My angel, my peace
The best part of me…”
The perfect ending for this series, all the books in Acts of Honor are related to the Men of Honor series, and we know Christopher and Alissa from the last book. I was really glad that Christopher got his own book, he has the personality to become an alpha male character, so it was totally expected that he got his story.
Let’s begin with Alissa, she is your sweet, innocent girl; who took interest in Christopher when they were just kids, but know that things are getting serious, is getting complicated to be together, and her mother is one of those obstacles for their love story.
Christopher: he´s got a rough start, until Faith and Cade gave him and his sister Ruthie, a better life. But the problem with the past is that not always is forgotten, and Christopher wants to be a good guy, but the town only sees him as trash, so he decide to enlist and to leave Alissa for better things, that´s what she deserves.
Years later Alissa´s father looks for Christopher, he need his help; Alissa has being kidnaped and the only one who is willing to risk his own life for her is Christopher; and with the help of Jaxson, Sawyer and Cade there´s nothing that stops them from getting Alissa.
This book is sweet, is truly the perfect closure to this amazing series; I couldn´t imagine any other end. So now comes the hard part, the longings to find another series like this one that can capture my heart, but I trust K.C. Lynn to make me fall in love with new characters.
