"H-hello?" Bobby's weak voice croaked through the phone.

"Hi, it's me," said Rumi, seated at a dressing room vanity. "We've got promo work today, where are you?"

"I'm really sorry," groaned Bobby, "but I can't make it in today. I picked up this awful bug...I don't know where, but I can't risk spreading it to you girls."

"Oh no, what happened?" Rumi's heart surged with worry. "Was it that popcorn shrimp from last night's venue? I thought it tasted funny..."

"No, no, it's worse." Bobby propped his head up with his free hand. "I've been on the bathroom floor for...god, like an hour at this point. I haven't been able to get up."

"God, if I knew someone on the staff was sick, I'd have brought masks." Rumi fretted. "I'm so sorry, I'll try and swing by when we're done here."

"Rumi, sweetheart, it's not your fault," assured Bobby. "I'll try and get some sleep. Don't you worry about me, I'll-"

Bobby's voice cut off. Rumi heard a clattering sound followed by retching. "Oh..." She shook her head. "I'll be there at five."

Rumi arrived at the house at five o'clock, like she said. She found Bobby curled up in bed, looking pale as a ghost. Even in sleep, his face was twisted in pain. Rumi put the back of her hand to his forehead, which was warm and damp. Bobby shifted a bit when he felt the skin contact, and opened his eyes to see Rumi kneeling over him. "Huh? Rumi?"

"Hiii, Bobby," cooed Rumi. "How are you feeling?"

"Oh, Rumi," croaked Bobby, trying to sit up, "you shouldn't be here. You're gonna catch this."

"It's alright," insisted Rumi. "You need me. If I get sick, so be it." She offered a water bottle. "Here, drink something. Fluids will help you feel better."

"Oh...thank you." Bobby, weary from fever, awkwardly pawed at the bottle, trying to grip it.

"Maybe I should hold this." Rumi opened the flip straw on the bottle and held onto it. Bobby's hand rested over hers as he weakly nursed the drink. "There we go. Better?"

"Uh huh." Bobby laid his head back down on the pillow, his arms wrapped around his belly.

Rumi sat down on the free side on the bed, placing a hand on Bobby's back. "You poor baby." She leaned in with a playful kissy face, the patterns on her hand shimmering pink. "Mumumu..."

For the first time that day, Bobby smiled. "Stahhhhp..." He chuckled a bit.

"Oh, you know you love it!" Rumi cupped Bobby's face in her hands, squishing his cheeks together like a fish and making silly noises until they both burst out laughing.

After settling down, Bobby sighed with relief. "This is why I love you girls."

"And we love youuuu..." Rumi gave her manager a gentle hug, happy to have cheered him up.

Loved this movie!! And Bobby def became my fav the moment he appeared on screen XD

Some more info about my oc! (And a couple hc about Bobby as well)

- (kinda my own theory/hc about it lol) Differently from Rumi, since she is an hunter aside from being half demon therefore probably it keeps her demon part a bit more in check , she has more demon features and a full fledged demon form

-She didn’t exactly always knew she was a demon, she saw her own patterns, sure, but she didn’t exactly know what they where since she was raised by Bobby that had 0 idea what demons even were and simply thought the patterns were a wierd birthmarks. And she believed too they were just that

Took her seeing the saja boys and Rumi with the same patterns to realize something else was up

Not in a calm way either, her demon part was mostly dormant before the honmoon first started to heavily be weakened

- ( Im also jumping on the Ex Idol Bobby theory hehe) Bobby stopped being and idol due to his then manager, who didn’t leave him any time to propely rest and pushed him too much (so much so that at one point enough that he ended up almost experiencing a vocal injury due to excessive strain). He quit when Rebecca was 10

He misses it a bit, tho what he mainly misses are his two friends (the third member moved to America since the group broke up after Rebecca’s father disappeared, Bobby rarely gets the chance to speak with him anymore

Not only that, they left off on bad terms)

- Bobby is extremely supportive of his daughter, both before and after he learned her demon heritage.

(He was a lil bit freaking out for a second(worry and surprise mostly) when he was informed about the whole demon realm thing, the saja boys being demons and the girls fighting said demons tho)

Bobby meets Derpy the tiger!!!!!! (oneshot)

summary: yeah Zoey introduces Bobby to Derpy and at first he is tweaking the freak out but Zoey shows him that he's actually the chilliest cat and very cool :3

3rd person pov! in this fic Bobby knows about the demon hunting stuff.

"HI BOBBY!" Zoey shouted across the living room, jumping up and down excitedly, waving at him so hard her hands were just blurs.

"Hi Zoeyyy!" he called back, holding about 3 bags and dragging along a suitcase. "So, how's things been-AHH!" he jumped back at the sight of Derpy, who seemed to appear out of nowhere.

"What is that?? Or- actually, WHY IS IT IN OUR LIVING QUARTERS???" Bobby exclaimed, pointing a finger at Derpy, who just tilted his head to the side and cooed curiously.

"Relax Bobby! Its Derpy! You know, the mystical, potential demon tiger?"

Bobby just...stared at her. Something like a; YOU SHOULDVE TOLD ME WE HAVE A DEMON TIGER WHERE WE SLEEP look on his face.

"Oh come on. I talked about him for HOURS on call with you! Unless you weren't listening..." She said with a comically skeptical face. "Eh, that's fine! Anyway, He's nice, trust me! Just put your hand out, let him sniff it, and if he likes you, pet him!"

Bobby followed Zoey's instructions. And Derpy actually marked his hand! (reader, if u know abt cats, this is a sign that a cat loves you!! sitting on ur lap is the ultimate sign a cat loves you)

Then Derpy got up and circled Bobby, purring like a housecat would. Well, a REALLY, REALLY big housecat. With tiger fangs and marks. And abilities to travel from the spirit world to the human one.

"See? He's a very sweet tiger, just looks a bit intimidating, that's all" Zoey said, smiling and scratching Derpy on the chin. "Yesss, yess! You're a very awesome kitty aren't ya!"

"Y'know, ignoring the fact that he's as tall as me, has '1000 yard stare eyes' and is a demon tiger," Bobby said, now with a pleasant smile on his face and patting Derpy on the head. "He is a very awesome cat."

end notes from me!!! (eden): whoowee I'm tired but this was fun to write!! I think Bobby and Derpy would be besties low-key.

also, fun factoid! Bobby is shorter than me or at least the same height as me! (I'm 4'11, almost 5'0) so...a REALLY short king..!
