The Keens getting ready for some Halloween madness

Tom is sporting some 80′s rockstar costume and shredding that air guitar. Thought that’d be appropiate. Also didn’t Ryan have a band? My sister said he could dress up as a teacher but I feel like Liz would have mixed feelings about that..

Liz here is finishing up her look as one of the many Shakespearean female characters that for some reason winded up pretending to be dead. At Liz’s funeral we learned from Aram that she loved Shakespeare. Also maybe a slight asshole move towards Red?

Rosa will arrive any minute now to babysit Agnes so Mommy and Daddy can go have a fun spooky night out.

Do you think Tom has a third employer?

No, I don’t believe so. One of the biggest moments for Tom’s character was in the episode where Tom and Liz attempted to get remarried. After everything that went down with the Major and Gina, the temptation had to be huge for him to bury the evidence. Liz had serious reservations, both about marrying him again and keeping the baby. She could have easily taken what happened as a sign that he’d never be able to be a good husband or father. It could have caused a “shed of doubt” which was the reason she gave him season 1 for pulling out of the adoption at the last minute. Telling the truth could have cost him everything, and yet that was what he did. He has learned his lesson about hiding the truth from his wife. Now they discuss things, like his reluctance to throw away the passports, Kirk, his family drama, etc. A short term backslide, like in 4x04 to pursue Agnes without Liz’s agreement is one thing, but for him to have a secret long term employer is another. I believe it would fly in the face of everything we’ve learned about this man.

Keen2 Week Day 3: Favorite Keen3 Moment

This scene was perfect, domestic, adorable Keen3. Tom and Liz are in such a routine with their little girl now, toys on the floor, coffee, running late to work, but getting it all done. It was such a great parallel to the premiere of The Blacklist, which is fitting, but only with a baby. I love them discussing their schedule to get Agnes to the doctor, and Liz is so determined he take the interview and they can make it work. Then right after, so supportive in him going to figure out the business with his father. They’re all smiles with their baby girl and working like a family with obstacles and roadblocks, both mundane and otherwise.

If you could have a couple of days off to go home to Liz and Agnes right now, would you? What would you do?

Definitely. I’d love to have a couple of days just to relax with my family. Movie night with @askelizabethscottkeen, playing with @askagneskeen…. Something simple without all the chaos that seems to follow us.

No matter what, they’re the ones I go home to, so I’m always going to miss them when I’m gone. They’re what makes coming home alive at the end of the day so important.
