Chop wood, carry water
And he's back.
The stakes are high, kids.
I’ve had this really weird realization over the past year that this is the only life that I am ever going to get. No redos, no do-overs. Like, what the fuck? The experiences that I have experienced, the people I have met, the things I have accomplished; will never be unexperienced, never un-met, and never un-accomplished. “Time” just keeps on going. The clocks, we have created to limit our living, just keep on ticking. The sun rises and sets every single day and for some fucking reason that means that I am one sunrise closer to not existing. And then what? Those people that I have met mourn me... until they don’t..
People talk about teenagers and how everything that happens around and to them holds too much value, but I’m starting to think that we have it right. Maybe these years are the best years of our lives because we live them so much fuller than we would if we were just accepting our fate. The stakes are higher.
It matters. Everything matters. Keep caring.
To my ladies who care a lot
Don't ever stop. You fix his hair and you smooth his shirt collar and you bring him soup and ice cream when he's sick. You cry when you feel like you need it and you can be sad when he doesn't do anything to help. You call him just to hear his voice. You tell him youre worried. You don't let him drive on the ice or if you do you text him in twenty minutes to make sure he got home safe. You make him text you that hes safe any time he drives somewhere. You help him with his future because one day it might be your future too. Don't stop caring because it might seem annoying because if he thinks of it that way, he doesn't deserve a girl as loving and amazing as you.
Steven Moffat telling of incoherences in the original stories they picked up in their scripts: “… Because we really care about things that grown-ups should not care about.” *enthusiastic applause* “You’re applauding my immaturity!”

Man going through the education tag makes me realize how much some teachers care about their students.
