On Friday there was a single MAGA crazy outside of the post office with a cart and posters, undoubtedly on Medicare and collecting social security, doing what Republicans do best and acting against humanity and his own personal interests by supporting Trump.

The next day, the rest of us flooded all of downtown during the protest, which was so full of hope, determination, and solidarity with each other. (Bonus: not a single cop in sight) Proud to have been there, and proud of my town.

Honestly, one of the the things i love abt auditor is how diverse ppls designs are for them. Like ppl just are making whatever they want! I love it! You can do whatever you want forever!

You know what I’m really pissed off I understand Notre Dame has been on fire, and it’s truly sad and tragic for lots of people. But people are forgetting the other historic places that have been burnt down too, the mosques in China and Palestine. Also the white man who burnt down three churches in Louisiana. I don’t know much about that bc everywhere I see it’s Notre Dame. There are so many historic places, that have been burnt down and it seems like as always (people might hate me for this but I don’t care) they only give a fuck about the white mans church. What’s vexing people more in the UK is that our government is giving funding to help build Notre Dame when they are no longer funding the people who have lost there homes in Grenfell tower who are living in temporary accommodation (STILL!!) and got kicked out there bc the gov. can’t fund them. There is so much more stuff going on in the world in different places that no one is airing, I don’t even know half of it but I know shit out there is bad and it won’t make the news. My heart goes out for everyone affected and for the world❤️

Hello friends!

I’ve got myself out of the shady internship and into a publishing one, and I’m loving it so far. I felt comfortable from Day 1, and the nature of work is right up my alley. It’s an educational magazine publisher, and while a tad upper-middle-class-leaning, they do have the right intentions. I’m the oldest intern--I turned 25 a few days back--but the younger folks have been so welcoming. I can’t wait to learn how to write for different audiences and even dabble in design.

Life is a huge-ass struggle sometimes, but there’s absolutely no deadline to reaching milestones. Your background might set you back some, and a lot of luck is involved in finding your thing. If you’re eighteen and you’ve landed a career you know you’ll love, way to go! If you’re thirty and you’ve just found your first job, bravo!

Been pretty down lately for the past few months. But have been reminded again how honest, powerful, and incredible music. Nothing can take its beauty away.
