He was eager for this to work out - for this girl to be what Zorc wanted. If she was, then it meant that he had done something good. He wasn’t sure why he cared, but... He did. He wasn’t about to psychoanalyse himself for it. 

So he was stood in his lounge in pitch darkness, feeling like a complete tool. Again, he thought of Bloody Mary and couldn’t take this too seriously. 

He did as the girl has said though, and he summoned her with her name. 

Nothing happened at first, and he was left wondering why dark entities couldn’t just use email.
