Remi stood in a long red dress, beaming at the end of the aisle. It was a small ceremony, at a secret location in the woods by a small pool of water. It caught the reflections-or ironically, the groom’s lack. Tobias stood, content-no more then content, happy, ecstatic. He was beaming, dressed in black with red accents, one arm behind him as he gazed down the aisle. His future in laws were to the bride’s side, and his sister, ward, and mother’s ghost on his. Also Tessa and a very reluctant Troy who’d been dragged along. Assorted other guests lined on their perspective sides, but his eyes were not on them. He was waiting-waiting to see his bride, Wren Baelfire, the light of his life.
Remi grinned when she saw them come round the corner. It was showtime.

“Hey Wren,” Tessa slipped into the tavern and sat down, “Not too nervous about tomorrow, are you?”
Me: Mr. Tumnus is how I fell in love with James McAvoy
Wren Mun: that too. that really awkward moment too
Me: Whats so awkward?
Wren Mun: he is half goat
Me: I adore Fawns
Wren Mun: I do too, but would you want to fuck a fawn
Me: ...I feel attacked right now
Wren Mun: WHAT?! IT'S A VALID QUESTION!
Me: So um
Me: Answer is yes
Me: I mean not any Fawn
Me: He'd have to be Mr. Right Fawn
Wren Mun: I'm laughing my ass off wondering if the government is reading this conversation.
Wren Mun: because this is something that makes sense to us but would freak out anyone else

A thought about them that they’d never share: I wish I could have met Wren a long time ago. Things would be different. I might be more deserving.First impression of them: “I’ve lost what little mind I’ve had. Oh! Okay this isn’t a ghost this is a new person. A very interesting person I’m rather intrigued by.”Favorite thing about them: Her spark. Tobias is fascinated by Wren’s bravery and attitude, and no nonsense persona while remaining kind.Least favorite thing about them: Her MortalityHopes for their future relationship: A long and happy marriage.

“Apologies for disturbing you so late at night. But I just arrived and...” Tilda looked around, unsure how late it truly was. She had been travelling all day and it already felt as if sundown was hours behind them. “I am searching for a room for me and my companions to stay the night. Could you help me out?”

They were back from the Honeymoon, and Tobias could not have been happier with life. But when Troy Jackson came to him for help, Tobias knew it couldn’t be good. Tessa had been missing for a full month, not to be found in Camelot or Moss Island. Reluctantly, he’d kissed his new wife and promised to be back soon.
He hadn’t been prepared for what he found. Who he found. What he was able to do. His limbs weren’t his. His will wasn’t his. Not even his words. His shadow had extra bits hanging from it-strings, almost, but made of similar shadow.
His eyes-only those showed the truth. Fear. A plea for Wren to run. The expression on his face was dark, his voice cold as his fangs extended.“My little bride...all mine, all mine...” An almost feral growl as he shut the door behind him.

Frankly he'd recognized the girl's father. An old associate of his own's father. Hardly a promising start, especially when he and his were in such a vulnerable state. Granted "He and his" wasn't all that many-his mother, his sister, his advisor, his ward, and a former lover who was still close friend. Each of them had taken another shape, enchanted as he was. Red scales covered great portions of his torso, and he had wings, small horns, a tail, and massive taloned feet. That wasn't to speak of the claws, and his hair had grown out.
His ward, Seiran, was now trapped in a small spring on the grounds. Thankfully it linked to a subterranean river, and she could come inside when it got too bad outside. Or when she got bored. It led to the cellar, which had once been used for trading and sending items out-before the rains had filled it and linked it to other water sources. She'd be down there now, curled up with some of her new friends-a family of otters. She'd gotten off mostly easy-tail, gills. Oh, he supposed to webbed fins and green skin might scare people off.
His mother seemed to have taken the best to her change-a Lady Centaur. She ate more vegetables herself now, but she tended to busy herself taking care of the rest of them Her humanoid torso was covered in a sheen of grey fur, and her ears were pointier, but she hadn't gotten off too badly.
Daphne would be about soon, he was sure, and probably lecture him. She, like he, could fly-a winged Sphinx. She didn't talk in riddles though-she'd grown bored of them. His sister and he had always been quite contrary to one another.
Tessa-well, she still hadn't forgiven him. She was a unicorn, and spent most of her time on the grounds-and only came in when the weather was awful, her mane soaked, and whinnying. Not that she couldn't talk-she just preferred to neigh at him indignantly.
Marie would slither about soon, he was sure.
"I am keeping you here only because I do not trust your father. That said, you should trust your father not to let you be hurt, I assume. I have no intent to harm you myself. In fact myself and those who live her will do our best to make sure your stay is as comfortable as possible." Tobias turned, keeping his wings folded to his back, his tail swishing, "My, nor none of mine, will see you harmed, Miss Baelfire. And besides..." He trailed off, "...before long you'll be able to be on your way anyway."
