I don't do #wcw anymore, I rather focus my Wednesday on wildlife with some interesting facts #WAW.... WILDLIFE AWARENESS WEDNESDAY This little baby Leatherback turtle is scrambling towards the ocean to experience salt water for the first time. Only 1 in a 1000 will survive to adulthood and unfortunately humans are one of their biggest threats due to fishing (nets, hooks, trawlers,) pollution (plastic), poaching and climate change. These are amazing creatures because once they hit the water as a baby...THEY NEVER STOP SWIMMING!!!! Constantly in motion gliding through the water. And you know what else? Their lineage dates back over 100 million years, older than dinosaurs!!!! These creatures are incredible and need to be preserved! You can make a small change this very minute by reducing your plastic consumption and reducing your carbon footprint by GOING VEGAN!!!
