I got to add a new item to my Marshall collection, and it's something I've been looking forward to getting for months!

It's called the "Very Merry Marshall" Keepsake ornament, and it's made by Hallmark. It was set to release in October, and as you can imagine, I was counting down the days for it to release! Much to my surprise, someone on Ebay managed to get one early, and... well, even though I had to pay a little extra, I couldn't resist! 😁

I must say, the detail is really quite good! They even managed to get most of his spots right, which is quite rare. Even his paw pads are included, which in terms of non-plush items, is rarer still! And everything else, from his vest to the strand of Christmas lights around him, all look great! Seriously, the whole thing's quite beautiful! Considering it's normally $18 (and that doesn't include shipping), I expected no less!

My only complaint is the crease around his mouth, which is a little too noticeable. At first, I thought this wasn't intentional, but looking at their previous ornament of movie Chase with his parachute, they did something similar with that, too. I guess it's because even his mouth has plenty of detail, such as including his teeth and tongue. In that case, I'd say it's an acceptable tradeoff!

Despite that, I still love it! Again, I think it's beautiful, and I'm so happy to get to add it to my Marshall collection! Interestingly, I think this is the only ornament of PAW Patrol they made this year, and it's so awesome they picked Marshall! Way to go, spotted one! 😁

Every August, I start to look through Hallmark’s stash of Keepsake ornaments for the year. I was really happy to see so many Harry Potter ornaments and to see that they were so well-made.
