Not a bad gig to have on your resume! My keynote speaker talk went well last night. The audience sat enthralled as I related the story behind my memoir, Juliette's Angel: Death Desire Destiny. How I survived adversity, ranaway, found my hunk-of-spunk husband, made mistakes, showed off and climbed a mountain. And what led to the angel appearing in that sacred moment in time... I held up the letter from Kensington Palace, and pointed to praise from George Hillary, grandson of Sir Edmund Hillary, on the banner behind me. Then I demonstrated how I inadvertently captured that miraculous angel image in my sons camera. Gasps resonated across the room when I turned the camera around and shared the original raw image on the screen. A thunderstorm, and sudden downpour preceeding the MindBodySpirit event, did nothing to dampen our spirits. Fortunately the event was inside Brisbane Convention & Entertainment Center, so it was all good. Johnny helped me get there and setup. Then he took off, muttering something about not wanting to hear anything about himself. That was probably a good thing. I still get butterflies when my hunk-of-spunk husband is around. So Brisbane's MindBodySpirit Festival done and dusted. I'm off to my nephew's birthday party this afternoon. The sun's shining, the sky is blue. What are you up to this wonderful weekend?
