“How did you even find this? I didn’t send it to you.” Moreover, how is he the one person who got the expresso thing right...? Oh, right, he threw an expresso on his face.

“A-Are you sure that’s okay?”

The trembling is obvious in his voice, anxiety bubbling over. Kel is always nice, always so friendly and kind to him -- he doesn’t deserve it. He doesn’t deserve that type of kindness.

And yet, here he is, trying to accept it. He wrings his hands, nervously smiling at his friend.

Basil shakes his head. “I-I don’t want to get in your way or something... You don’t have to...”
