Regardless of whether or not the studio did anything for the funny egg holiday, one which suspiciously had nothing to do with the host himself just so happened to be lying around, hidden in a nook where it could just barely be seen. If DB was brushed up on his Kirby lore, he might recognize who the egg was based on and not want anything to do with it. Buuut if he was so inclined, taking a bite out of it revealed it was relatively harmless. Peanut butter and chocolate, a classic! Oh, wait. But it was completely different on the other side. Was that strawberry jelly? What a coincidence! Or it could just be that the one who left it here was also aware of a thing or two regarding the banana. Cheers.

Well it was true that the studio didn't have any Easter-themed plans or events at this moment, but that didn't stop some visitors to mention the holiday throughout the day.

Close to closing time, the host was wrapping up business for the day, packing stuff up and whatnot when he saw something small and blue hiding in that one corner in the lounge.

"Why hellooooo there!" Curiosity getting the better of him, he grabbed the egg from its hiding spot. A funny looking thing, even. He's aware of some of the Kirby lore and in particular a couple of the Magolor memes, but he didn't think much of it other than recognizing the resemblance of it. Being a Kirby nerd is the box's thing.

An egg-shaped surprise based on the egg of a wizard? Maybe taking a bite or two wouldn't hurt...

Chomp, chomp.

"Peanut butter, strawberry jelly, and chocolate? Now this is some really good stuff!" It's not often that chocolate eggs like these end up tasting more than just hollow chocolate, much less have this much flavor in them. Peanut butter jelly time, indeed.

(multimyriad) Somehow, Shade was here. And wherever Goblin managed to reappear after that little scare, he managed to stealthily stick a 'kick me, I smell' sign on the back of his helmet. Before he could be discovered for his little prank, he gave Gremlin a thumb's up and quickly vanished.

Goblin was, at the moment, too distracted trying to destroy the empty jar to notice another visitor much less their sign. He simply continued smacking the jar against a rock, grumbling to himself. 

Gremlin had returned to keep an eye on his parallel, little as he’d wanted to. Seeing Shade show up, he had to restrain himself from bursting into laughter at his prank. He was able to give him a thumb’s up back before he vanished. Gob-Nightmare finally turned around to look at him. “What’s that stupid smile for?” He questioned accusingly. “Nothin’ you’d care to know about.” The other replied with a barely hidden smile.

In this installment, Molly continues being a flower and battles a frog which takes way longer than it should because her teammates refuse to do anything else other than just use up all the resources.

(multimyriad) Gleaming eyes locked with dull ones. While the woman headed towards Chai did not intend on stopping him herself, she did have someone with her who could. Clutching the Dive Ball in her hand, she then tossed it overhead and shouted, “Maemie! Rush forward to incapacitate him!”

The ball popped open, summoning another large and potent Pocket Monster to the field. A dragonite roared upon reveal, flaring her wings and charging into a run to take flight.

Picking up speed, Maemie opened her arms wide. If she was fast enough, then maybe she could constrict him in the kindest way she knew how – via an embrace.

While the attempt was made, Adeline stood on standby. Her other two Pokémon were dealing with whatever guards came near.

Someone approaching. Not identified as safe. Chai's dead gaze locks on for a moment, before tracking the others around him. Potential targets. He has no orders to be safe with his own life, so there's no reason for him to pick one foe over another.

... Except for the one rushing toward him right NOW--!

The aspiring guitarist turned temporary Umbrella agent is nabbed by a DRAGON, and after a bit of struggling, he seems to give up... ... only for his extending arm to lash out, aiming right for Adeline in an effort to yank her in. Failing that, if she was anchored well enough, he could rip himself right out of this creature's hold.

Originally, the arm had been magnetic only; after the first raid on Wesker, however, Peppermint made some adjustments so Chai could get in close to humans without having to run at them and risk getting shot. And it's working! A little too well!

(multimyriad) There was a mysterious little package left on the couch at the Tea Team’s hideout, addressed to Chai. Written on the tag was a small note:

“Keep at it. Feel better soon.”

Inside the box were assorted guitar picks, plus some tea bags. Whoever the sender was, they did not sign it anywhere, but there was a hint of something surrounding the box which made it feel safe. Magic? Certainly not, right?

(I'd like to thank Tumblr for just, not showing this ask until now. Anyway!)

"Woah, an actual gift?? No way, I can't believe Santa's real..." Ignoring Peppermint's scoffing and CNMN's 'um, ackshually' speech preparing to launch, Chai rips off the tape? twine? surprisingly neatly before opening it up. It's small, so he wasn't expecting anything life-changing, but this was definitely nicer than the coal he used to be threatened with for not behaving when he was a little kid.

"Keep at it, huh? Yeah, you know I will." For a minute he picks up the gift and holds it to his chest, letting that feeling of safety wash over him. After everything that had happened... lord knows he needed it.

"Hey, anyone want some tea?" "I do. Unless you're volunteering me to make it." "Sounds like a good idea." "Yeah, sure. Lemme finish this coffee first." "Please, enjoy your gift Mr. Chai."
