A couple months ago they did “things guys should stop doing to girls” which I totally loved and appreciated, so I’m glad they did the reverse as well! I have to admit most of these things I tend to do, but it is something I'm definitely working on!

Let's talk about Blimey Cow.

For those of you unfamiliar with the homeschool-graduate group of Youtubers known as "Blimey Cow", let me explain why they are amazing.

Blimey Cow is a show about life topics from the perspective of young adults who also happen to be Christians and who also happen to not agree with every religious article thrown their way.

Brothers Jordan and Josh Taylor and Josh's wife Kelli comprise the group of level-headed satirists whose mission statement is not to preach or even educate about religion, but to encourage other young people to learn for themselves the values that are important in this day and age, as a Christian or just as a casual viewer who happens to come across their videos.

I discovered one of their episodes, the first in a series of "You Might Be a Homeschooler If..." videos, which rang true to the experience I had as a late 90's homeschooler. I continued watching and soon found most of their work to appeal to my logical side and my religious side, while also allowing me to step away and disagree, something to appreciate since they don't berate you for not having the exact mindset that Christians are "supposed to have" (a topic not-so-mildly addressed in their latest video, posted at the top.) Even though their humor might come off as pompous, obnoxious, or even juvenile at times (I'm looking at you, Hissy-Fit Other Jordan), it's all for the glory of humor and appreciation for our differences, even if we share a belief system.

The basic idea behind every video is an encouraging message of free-thinking and the importance of not sticking to society standards, whether forced on you by secular or Christian sources.
