They knelt together in the forgiving beauty of a summer day and wept for the people they had lost.
The Ruby Dice, Catherine Asaro
“I know you’re horny. I can literally feel it. And it’s not helping me focus at all. So can’t you deal with it?”
Eric narrowed his eyes at Kelsie. They had somehow became more than friends in the past few months and their activities on camera had translated to off camera. Eric wanted her at that moment but he hadn’t asked. He knew she was busy. He figured when she was done that maybe they could jump in his bed but she wasn’t feeling it he assumed. “Fine. You’ve gotten me spoiled to not having to use my hand.” He rolled his eyes but leaned down to kiss her lips out of habit and went to his room.
“This position is killing my back.”
Eric knew it wasn’t easy for her during their cam shows. She had to look sexy and get fucked in positions that weren’t the most comfortable or natural. Her words were whispered into his ear as he sucked on her neck and pushed into her. The boy gave only a slight nod of acknowledgement before turning them so she was on top. It was a view that everyone loved, himself including, and he knew that it was more comfortable for her. Eric winked up at her to let her know in a subtle way that he was thinking about her comfort the entire time. The show continued and the money rolled in. As long as she was in a good place he didn’t care about anything else.
You know that saying women have, 'I can't read your mind'? Well, my wife can readmy mind, and it doesn't make a whit of difference. You have to show them.
the Moon’s shadow, by Cathrine Asaro
Eldrin offers words of wisdom on relationships. Communication is extremely important, even when your wife can read your mind.
Kelric has been married seven times, and yet he is very very very bad at dealing with women. This may have something to with with the fact that, out of those 7 marriages 6 of them were arranged, and like 5 of them were arranged without his permission... He’s had an interesting life.
“He had been pursued, seduced, coveted, kidnapped, bought and sold, but only once in his life had he ever sought the relationship.”
Jeejon is a lovely girl, and for a change she’s actually Kelric’s age. Which basically means she’s an adorable little old lady, because she didn’t have access to nano-meds ect.
Of course she’s also struggling to deal with the fact that she spent most of her life as a slave, on some back water world, then after the radiance war, her planet ended up in skolian territory which means she’s not a slave anymore... which didn’t mean anything for her life till an escaped pleasure slave ended up on her door step. (I’m afraid I can’t remember the details of their romance, it was adorable though) Together they made it to earth.
And THEN she finds out this guy is not actually an insanely expensive pleasure slave... No... He’s the imperator, a member of the ruling triad of AN INTERGALACTIC EMPIRE.
