I also made a gay couple in FFXIV recently. Meet Shadow and Kelta.

Shadow is actually a player who ended up becoming his character, Shadow Champion. He has decided to go by Shadow, even if it's not an elezen name.

Kelta is a new adventurer, who was traveling to Ul'dah to learn thaumaturgy. On the chocobo carriage ride to there, he met Shadow, who was unconscious on the road.

The two decide to work together as adventurers, becoming thaumaturges and eventually black mages together. They move together into a house and eventually a romance blooms.
