As for Austin Aries? Hmm, that’s tough. I liked him for a bit when he was in TNA but idk. I like him as a wrestler and think he’s a tremendous worker but I never really clicked with him beyond that. If he was booked right and given a lot of TV time I don’t see why he couldn’t be money. The problem is that there’s a good chunk of guys I’d rather see in that spot before him. So for now, it’s a pass on that. Here’s my favorite memory of Austin Aries. Wait for the 58 seconds mark. I lost my shit at how loud that was.

Think we can make a move for Zimmermann or Fister without giving up too much?

I’m pretty sure the Nats said they wouldn’t move Zimmerman (unless of course they got an offer they can’t deny) but they are listening on Fister, who I think the Sox could get. He will be a free agent after ‘15, which should drive his price down, but I think they’ll still try ask for a lot. I think they need MIs so they’d probably ask for Betts but hopefully Marrero and a pitcher (one of: Ranaudo, Owens, Johnson) could be enough. I would be fine with giving Marrero because he is jammed at SS/2B but I’d be hesitant on the pitching prospects since we’re giving RDLR and Webster to Arizona, but it would probably be necessary. I think they could get him for a price that wouldn't kill the farm tho. The Nats have a great GM tho so it'd be hard to get him for a steal.
