The WIP is from 2014 and the bottom one is that same file but finally finished and fixed up today.
I even came up with a story to go with it :D
Goa waited perched up high above the preparing roof top. From where he watched from the party looked like was going to start in a few hours. Yet he had to be sure that his target was actually going to show this time.
It had already been two months since he had started this mission and yet this SIS agent was slippery to get alone more or less for them to be out in the open. And if he had the time to he would of bet his stipend that she knew that he was onto her.
But now she was forced to come out to the open, or at least the idea of having a death mark placed on such a highly noted performer was going to be a bigger issue than him hunting her. Who would of thought that the woman who was well known in clubs across the galaxy was an SIS agent?
He couldn’t risk being in the party in person, too many people and too much security even if he did have a distraction. Thus he was going to take up Kennith’s role and snipe her from afar, if she showed.
Yet as he roosted in his snipers nest the sounds of the roof entrance opening up under him made him pull back as two voices, two large men humans came onto the roof.
“Look Vhiny, I don’t want you messing this up now, this is our first job after you kriffed up the last one and I will personally toss you from this building if you mess this up again.” The younger man snapped as he pointed for an older looking man to stand in a certain spot.
“Now stay here and keep watch, if you see any lurkers take care of them. “ the young man said jabbing the other in the chest before leaving.
The the door slammed shut the older man gave a sigh and looked out at the neon glowing skyline. “He’s never going to give that up is he?” he muttered to himself shaking his head before readjusting his rifle and walking around.
Goa frowned as he narrowed his eyes at the old man, maybe this was a good sign? Surely the Hutt had his own men but these two didn’t seem to be part of that, someone must of hired them instead. And yet the man didn’t have any communication on him. A grin passed his lips as he pulled the mask up his face settling it on his nose. The man had a nice coat and assuming he didn’t struggle much he could become Vhiny.
As the hours passed the boss never came back or bothered contacting his now late partner, he assumed that the man who was standing on the roof looking bored and trying to be interested in a green long coat was him.
But for Goa at long last his target came walking into view in a brilliant white sparking dress to give her show to the Hutts who paid her. The deep blue Twi’lek walked around the guests singing and making moves to a number of men. Yet she didn’t seem to notice that he was watching her.
It wasn’t difficult to make a distraction from his spot. Acting as if he saw something he started to shift around looking towards the other buildings and raised ‘ his’ rifle to look through the scope, least the man had a decent one and a silencer on it too.
It was all a ruse there was nothing there but with his ‘boss’ and security looking elsewhere and the singer distracted with her song he took aim and fired. Two shots to insure the kill before he turned dumping the dead man’s gear and grabbed his own making his escape.
