[Slight?? Iruma-kun chapter ch. 329 spoilers]
I'm literally so obsessed with the characterization of each and every character in iruma-kun. Its so rich!!!! Every single development capitalizes on doing something unexpected but with the purpose of making the character 3-dimensional rather than doing it for purely shock factor/gap-moe appeal, which is soooooo refreshing.
I'm mostly talking abt Sylvia rn. One of the bigger highlights about the series is the fact it has such a large cast but they take time to develop and invest time in every single character without it feeling like one of those obligatory "we have to show their backstory (bc we did that for all the other (more important) characters but we didnt really plan it so heres a flashback)" moments most other series have, and each character is enjoyable by default so it really just makes them more enjoyable!! I'm looking so forward to how she and Sabnok (and their dynamic together!!! And the rest of their family!!!!) Is elaborated on later in the series
im also thinking so extremely hard about Iruma not being scared from the hyper-realistic zombies in First Love Memories! He's been through so many Absolutely Terrifying real life experiences that something fictional isn't all that scary to him, but rather exciting and thrilling!!! Aaa!!! It was so unexpected!!! Aaa!!! The series just defies expectations and tropes, even in minor ways like this, and you can really tell how much love goes into the characters!!! Aaaa!!!!
