I chose the song as a reference to ‘night on galactic railroad’, a book written by the RL Kenji Miyazawa.

kenma wears kyoutani's hoodies all the time. and kyoutani doesn't really wear hoodies, he mostly has them for kenma to steal. but, kenma likes when the hoodies smell like kyoutani, so kyoutani will wear them just to see the cute little smile on kenma's face. and sometimes kenma will be wearing a hoodie for a few days in a row and it's covered in cat and dog fur and kyoutani will take off the hoodie he's wearing and give it to kenma so clean will a have a fresh(ish) hoodie to wear.

kenma coming home to see kyoutani asleep on their couch with their cat curled up on his chest and their dog also asleep between kyoutani's legs. kenma takes a picture so he can brag to kuroo.

kenma feels bad when he has to wake kyoutani up. it will disturb the cat and dog, but kyoutani needs to get into bed. to be comfortable and cuddle kenma, of course.

still, kenma gently nudges kyoutani's shoulder. his eyes flutter open, eyebrows scrunched together until he realizes it's kenma who's waking him up. "let's go to bed," kenma says and squeezes kyoutani's shoulder.

kyoutani hums. kenma takes the cat off of his chest so he can sit up. they go through their routine: let the dog out and then lock the door when she comes back in, check the cat and dog food and water bowls, brush teeth, change for bed. and finally, kenma gets to cuddle with his boyfriend. strong arms wrap around kenma, pulling him to kyoutani's chest.

"kenta," kenma whispers and kisses kyoutani's jaw. kyoutani only hums in reply. "I love you."

"I love you, too, kenma."

kenma wasn't expecting kyoutani to be as clingy as he is. and in the first few months of their relationship, kenma was the one to initiate anything between them. but once kyoutani gets comfortable, he's almost always touching kenma. arms wrapped around his waist, laying his head in kenma's lap, playing with kenma's hair, cuddling, holding kenma's hand. and kenma never really thought of himself as a super affectionate person, but he starts to crave kyoutani's touch. anytime they're in the same room, kenma's pouting just to get affection from kyoutani.
