Some parts of the conversation still made him squirm, no matter how nice Lev had proven to be. In fact, the reality that Lev was a nice person was exactly what made Yaku feel so foolish.

Morisuke squeezes his eyes shut for a moment, before exhaling harshly and bending down to take his bag. It’s hard to admit it, even if just to himself, but it’s clear that he was so, so wrong about Haiba Lev.
