Meet Kennedy Walker, the newest addition to the Big Apple. Originally from Manhattan, New York the twenty seven year old now resides in Brooklyn and works at IDW Publishing as a comic book artist. She's been told that she bares a striking resemblance to Katie Cassidy and maybe she does but she doesn’t see it. Lucky for us though this role is closed.
About your neighbor.
Why are they here?: Kennedy grew up in Manhattan, New York with her old brother, dad and her mom. She was a bit of a comic book nerd growing up, but aside from that she was very intelligent and talented. She had a great talent from drawing. Her mother thought maybe she would grow up to be an amazing artist. And that’s exactly what she did, it’s just not the kind of art her mother envisioned for her. Three Facts:
With Kennedy being a bit of a nerd, she never really felt like she fit in. She wore glasses and was a bit overweight where her mother was beautiful and slender. So, her best friend was her comic books.
It wasn’t until high school that she started to change and come into her looks. But she never wanted to be popular. She loved being the president of the comic book club.
After college, she wasn’t sure what kind of job she wanted. She knew she wanted to work with her first love if she could. So, when she was offered the job at IDW Publishing, she took it right away. She loves her job.
Everyone’s got a secret.
When Kennedy was sixteen, she witnessed her dad murdering someone. But she never said anything and she didn’t know how she felt about it. But some part of her was exactly like her dad and she was nothing like her mom. So, she finally approached her father and told him that she knew and that she wanted to be a part of what he did. Training her to be a killer, he told her she needed a cover, so that was when she went to college for art. After college, she became a comic book artist. But she doesn’t do it for the money. It’s part of her cover, but not her life. She chose the job because it provides her with the cover she needs. What she really loves is the rush of the anonymity of what she really does, she’s a gun for hire, a hitwoman, an assassin.
