what if neal breaks into peters house in the morning and tries to bake peter a cake on his birthday but he accidentally sets off the fire alarm and burns the cake and peter runs down the stairs carrying a baseball bat and one slipper and his pyjama pants hanging off his hips and starts swinging the bat and hes still half asleep and neal just starts laughing because peter looks ridiculous and its the most adorable thing and neal can barely choke out "happy birthday" because he is laughing so hard
