Checked out the art theater as a reception spot for the wedding today. It’s looking to be the best venu thus far. We can bring in our own catering company and our own booze, we’ll def save money there. Now it’s just a matter of planning it all out. So excited! Think of the possibilities with the invitations! Too cute!

Had the girls try on bridesmaid dresses on today. Liked these. On a side note: I hate the customer service at David’s Bridal. I’m going to have to shop around and try different stores. I love that I picked the first dress I tried on but am being extra picky about my bridesmaids. -Kennya

Update!

So as Jeff mentioned already, I have found my dress! And I was pretty stoked at the price too! It was only $600! Yeah, more than I would have liked to have paid in the first place but not bad considering the average cost of a wedding dress. I’ve been paying for it in installments though so I’m pretty excited because I think I should be done this month. Wednesday, to be exact. I’m planning on taking my sisters with me so they can try some bridesmaid dresses on. They’re going to look so beautiful all dolled up in their bridesmaid gear! Not that they don’t look amazing already ;)

Can’t wait for Wednesday!

Also, every time I get near ice cream (my greatest weakness… EVER) my mom reminds me, “you already bought your wedding dress!”

PS We hope to book the ceremony spot (Japanese Garden in Cal State Long Beach) in the next month or so! The reception we are still not sure about. We need to do more research on that end. I’m so excited for the ceremony though. I always wanted an outdoor wedding.
