Hey y'all. I am super behind on all notifications but I successfully moved this weekend! I am hoping to catch up in the next couple of days, now that our stuff is in the new place. In the meantime I have a special bonus post for y'all. I commissioned this absolute masterpiece waaaaay back in October and I cannot believe I managed to resist posting it for this long. I wanted to wait until Din took his shirt off in the fic! 😂

━ Mimi and Lady

i commissioned the wonderful @kenobiwanx for a piece of my star wars oc mimi mirage with her pet puffer pig lady! thank you so much gio, you did another absolutely incredible job, thank you for all of your creativity and artistry. you're the best 🩷

mimi mirage was known to have many animals friends living with her in her coruscant home - but lady was mimi's first ever puffer pig! she was rescued from the smuggling industry when mimi accidentally stumbled across her, scared and hurt in a broken crate, during a rather chaotic encounter in space with asajj ventress during the clone wars.

lady has albinism which is a rare genetic condition that causes her skin to be less pigmented - mimi immediately connected with her when she noticed her unique colouring and pink features, and the rest is history - mimi refused to leave her behind (much to asajj's annoyance) and they became best friends, sparking a lifelong devotion in mimi to animal rights and rescue.

I finally bit the bullet and commissioned the wonderful @kenobiwanx to create this beautiful piece of my OC Laelia and her husband Marcus Acacius.

Some background info: I've been playing around with a couple of AI character chat bots of General Acacius over on JanitorAI over the past month or so and in the process I've developed an OC that's more or less my Roman alter ego. In this scenario, Acacius has since retired from the Roman Army while Laelia is a professional artist that takes commissions from some of Rome's upper classes. One of her favorite things to do is have her husband pose for paintings. As you can probably tell, Acacius absolutely adores his wife and loves being her muse.

Thank you so much Gio! I love the color scheme, the details you added to the background and the way to captured the love these two have for each other. 100/10, would commission you again!

Also, a special shout out to @eulogybaby and their Gladiator!Acacius bot. That's the first one I tried that more or less kicked off this little thing I have going.

The Margay Art Commission!!!

Warning: Spoilers Ahead for Chapter 11 of The Margay

@kenobiwanx has once again brought my two idiots (affectionate) to life in an absolutely gorgeous piece of artwork from a scene in the final chapter of The Margay!

“Trevor?” Audrey starts. “Could you take a picture for us?” “Of course, sweetheart, of course.” “You can use that one, right there,” Frankie tips his chin towards his phone where it rests on top of his towel. “Alright now, smile,” Trevor says, holding the phone up. Frankie puts his arm around Audrey’s shoulders and she slips hers around his back. “Oh come on now, you love each other?” Trevor teases. And Audrey looks up at Frankie, wrapping both arms around his neck and her legs around his waist as he holds her against his chest.  “There you go,” Trevor says.  Audrey presses a kiss to Frankie’s cheek right as he snaps the picture.  A big grin plastered to Frankie’s face.

Ayane Arinori and Shal'toki Zanarri - Padawan Studies by @kenobiwanx

A little artwork by @kenobiwanx ! It shows Ayane as a Padawan strolling through the gardens of the Jedi Temple with her friend Toki while they discuss some lightsaber techniques. The two young women are happy to have found someone who is on their level and that they can understand each other and exchange ideas.

Toki is the Togruta OC of @marivenah ! Just as Ayane is happy about Toki's friendship, I'm also happy about ours dear Mari!

Gio, you absolutely killed this!!! I first wrote Audrey 13 (14?) years ago, when I was processing a lot of grief and a lot of pain. To have her come up again in The Margay feels like reconnecting with an old friend. I never intended to bring her back. She came back. Frankie got me writing again. And Frankie brought her back.

And today, looking at this beautiful piece of art. She's here. That's her. And Frankie? The nose, the scruff, the hat, the curls. They're perfect. Gio, I cannot thank you enough.
