i dont know! im not surprised in the case of american gods though, just the book alone would be an undertaking but theyre adding sooooo much more story to it (which i think is a really good choice because so far every side story has Fucked) so its like. so much on one shows plate

Go for it, I personally love reading Second person present tense fic

I really like it for being, like, a character’s direct experience, with no filtering or anything going on. which makes it really good for stuff that plays around with a character’s senses or emotions a lot, and feels to me about 10x better than first-person for getting the reader inside the main character’s head.

but I’ve gotten about half a dozen negative reviews over using it, divided about equally into “UGH HOMESTUCK” and “I don’t remember reading anything like this in highschool English class so this must be grammatically wrong.”
