keun why do you only have feats with haneul huh

because i really do play biases sometimes. haneul is someone who, alongside her other groupmates, is someone I will always have a soft spot for. i remember when I first saw her at her audition, I believe she still entering high school, literally a kid and then she started singing and it was amazing. I could feel that she was made to be artist, that it was her path and i had enough confidence to think that i could help her being one. I kept her close to teach on how to write and i learned with her that are those genuine people who can sing about their feelings. like i always liked to sing and write about my life but i always thought about what should be appropriate by the time, haneul isn't like that, she sings what she feels right now. every time she released a song you could tell when she was happy, when she was sad, when she was in love or when she is heartbroken. and with her and her voice, you enter this memory lane of what happened, not only in her life but in yours too. i cried when she did patience featuring zeev because it just made me think and live all over again what was like to see those kids growing up and be who they are today. I'm honored to still be able on working with music with her, honored to be the one who taught her songwriting but I never take the credit for it because every time we do music together I'm the one who becomes grateful to work with her because it reminds what made me want to make music in the first place.

what's would you say it's the most unique thought you have about the world?

living is such a wide concept. we feel so much emotions during our lives and we don't know what is going happen with us even thought we daydream a lot. i don't know, i'm sorry, that is a good question, it a type of questions i believe i will always wonder around my whole life.

tell me something about yourself that no one knows about.

i had a broken teeth for ages because once one of the bait i was fishing with my dad got stuck in my mouth.

what most inspires you to write songs? and how is that process of inspiration?

i think everyone knows what inspire me the most. i get everything that i'm feeling to be inspired to make songs and when i have those feelings and write songs right away, i like those types more because its very exciting being hype about a great ideia and don't have any sort of blocks. the problem is always when recording them because it has to be as the vision me and my producer are imagining.

it's your last meal on earth, what are you eating?

whatever i'm feeling like eating at the day, i guess.

if you could say something to yourself from 5 years ago what would you say?

never stop believing in your morals. read your contract. think about the contract you gonna sign. get a good lawyer.

what is the best compliment someone ever gave you and why.

is not a compliment but everytime someone tells me that i helped them to be the person that they are today it definetly makes my day. people are so important so i tried my best to treat everyone with kind and respect and just being affection in general cause is that type of support that a person needs to grow.

folklore is definetly save on my spotify. my favorite song right now is the last great american dynasty.

Do you believe in love at first sight?

i used to. i've learned that loving someone isn't something you can feel just for a day, its a work in progress, you know? you start loving someone when you start get to know more about, when you start accepting their flaws, their quirks and everything that makes them that one person that you first saw and thought: "oh, thats the one". i would describe more as connection at first sight than using the word love because you can find that someone or something and just feel that is something for you life, just have to work on it to turn into your forever.

What’s the last song you sang?

treasure by bruno mars. it was playing on the radio before i came here.

What was the last thing you said to your mom?

"no mom, i don't have the number of that lady that you used to tailor my school uniform." and "no mom, i don't need her number to tailoring my pants. i gained some weight. no, i'm not fat. yes, i'm healthy. i love you"

How would you describe your ‘type?’

it can't be describe. i'm songwriter, i know, but the person i am in love is someone is so incrediable and she always growing that i cannot tell exactly. my type is moon nayoung. i feel so embarrising now.

What’s something you’d like to be better at?

getting the notes at the first try. i'm a perfectionist and i take good care of the songs that i make so they always need to at that superior level. i know that they can come out just as basic enjoyable r&b and pop songs but my performace on it need still to be flawlesss, i don't think just that, my producer too.

When was the last time you cried and why?

i don't remember why. i think i was beating myself too much working on my songs and just cried. it happens, sometimes i good cried is what you need to have to move to another day.

What do you think people think of you?

sexy man who sings about sex? people nicknamed me as the korean version of the weeknd, is that right? it is very flatering.

Do you like yourself?

i don't think i never had a phase that i hated myself. there was a time when i lost myself and didn't enjoyed who i was fore sure, but then i take a look inside of me to figure out what it happened and i kinda worked on it and i became comfortable in my own skin.

            been the only professional singer in that room and not battling with the karaoke machine yet could even be considered ironic, however, it was just because he liked to see his friend and especially girlfriend have the time of their lives even if was just drinking soju and laughing of one another goofy asses or getting into the feeling of the song. just pouring another shot to himself while admiring nayoung with that big smile of her being her most cheeky self even if it was just because she and hana had chosen sweet dreams as their song. those were still the moments keun felt the proudest of nayoung, not because she was nailing the points of the game but because of everything she had been through, that he just know of yet, she still decided to overcome everything, even the things he made her go through in the media. nayoung find herself, she could even say it was part of his help but keun knew she made this all by herself with her strength of forgiveness, kindness, and well everything that she is as a woman that she always was inside. she was life itself right now and seeing her just made that buzz feeling inside him remember that she was indeed the most amazing person he met and nothing more could make her get out of his life, he wouldn’t let it. thats was just because he was with a silly smile and sort of red face because of the alchool was he was watching her and seeing her getting more close to him, his instinct was grab her arm and pulled close to him, hugging her legs while she was still singing but laughing at him acting drunk, and looking that the song already was over. ‘ it is my turn? ’ keun raised his heard to look at her eyes with puppy eyes face because he didn’t want to sing but suddenly everyone was shouting him to go. ' alone?! ’ he couldn’t complain because it was true what mark said, he was indeed a solo artist, so that being said he straightened his pants and got up of the couch he was siting. ' so everyone has requests? ’ he giggled looking at the book of the songs, he founded the perfect song in the m section of artists. ' so this one is for everyone who is in love. clearly ’ the little tv in that room started playing let me love you by mario and it there was ong keun singing rnb with his soul and heart, making even a little dancing and going to make a little lap dance in his girlfriend.

7: Talk about your biggest insecurity.

i try not to think that much about it, but you know as my name became bigger in south korea and especially me being more into rnb than kpop in general, i’m tending myself think about the public reaction to my music especially now that i’m just trying to show them the way i am, and i’m just wishing, actually praying, that they like it and happens to be also good on the charts. the feeling about recognizing its something that everyone likes do feel, right?

i don’t think its that much fun to me to say right away.

death: what are three things you want to do before you die?

just making music and help people to find the place in the world and also feel love at any form. i think at this moment i don’t have any goals just enjoying life and my friends until reach our 30s.

i kind of do but its not songs like starboy by the weeknd, is actually just me humming a melody sometimes when i’m in the process of making music for my albums. i don’t do that much of it. i actually don’t have a shower playlist or stuff like that. but i do spend some days in the shower overthinks with things that i forget after not just like: did i put shampoo on my hair instead of conditioner?

you have to stop asking this question as just referring pets being dogs. i love dogs. but i’m a cat person, you have to accept that. i love my children. actually, gonaeng is not my son he is more like a roommate who don’t pay for his rent. i have scratches of the new cat of my girlfriend gave me but at this point, i consider her a friend of mine too.
