I can’t believe that shameless had a whole arc where Kevin and V can’t get pregnant so Kevin fucks Veronica’s mom until she gets pregnant only for Veronica to get pregnant directly afterwards. Like what the fuck
Kev's babies are so adorable.
V is bothering me this season. I don't like how she is treating Kevin and the girls. I can't decided if she has PPD or she is just being selfish.
There are just a couple of things i want to say about V in S5 and selfish isn't one of those things, though it may seem like she's acting selfish i do think it's something deeper than that.I think V might be suffering from either a Postpartum Anxiety or Postnatal depression (and these are just my thoughts so i could be totally off). She doesn't feel connected to the babies in the same way as Kev does and maybe doesn't even feel like their mom. She doesn't really seem to want to spend time with her babies, she didn't want to breastfeed them and seems to to wanting to be away from them as often as possible. It's common for women to suffer from these two things after childbirth and this can go from having mood swings, being irrational, Being on edge, getting the feeling like she's irrelevant now the baby is this (as in; Kev paying more attention to the babies then he does to her. She feels like she doesn't exist anymore now the babies are here which is also a common symptom), Taking a long time to fall asleep (we've kind seen that before, a little), not wanting to be around your child(ren), fear for the baby(s) as she's shown when Kev asks her to say bye to the babies for intant and she kinda flinches and stares at them.This is all just my own observation and conclusion of course I am not sure if this is definitely it but i like to believe it is. Veronica is a caring person (old peoples home, hood nurse and all, watching the Gallagher kids) and she doesn't strike me as a person who would pick herself over her babies as easily.
Of course i don't like the way she is treating Kev and the babies either but like i said she might just be scared and feel unwanted which makes her act in irrational ways. Kev and V love each other more than anything, thing will be alright i believe this with all m heart
