I think this might be the first time I’ve fully showcased my individual mid, pre, and post-Strex designs for Kevin. So I hope you like them!

Do you like long fics? Slowburn? Polyamory? The most gut wrenching, funniest, and rewarding journey a fic can possibly take you on???

Then may I suggest everyone go and read @a-slight-sweet-fiction's Welcome to Night Vale fic Every Version Of You. It's 600,000 words, and still being updated! I've read the whole thing, and parts of it... two or three times based on when it had been updated up to that point. It is, legitimately, an absolutely phenomenal fic, I cannot stress it enough!

It's forced me to consider (in the best ways!) pacing and what exactly the limits of a relationship can be! (The whole fic has, thus far, taken place over the course of roughly three days!) It's probably my favourite wtnv fic I have ever read. I cannot recommend it enough.

both cecil and kevin are banned from carlos' lab for different reasons. cecil because he keeps trying to make out right next to dangerous chemicals and has no regard for lab safety, and kevin because he's a walking biohazard (constantly covered in blood) and likes to touch said chemicals for fun

Summary: Prince Cecil of Night Vale sets off on a journey into a Desert Otherworld to find his missing lover, who disappeared into thin air a year ago. He instead finds himself with his enthusiastically bloodstained counterpart from a rival kingdom, a Prophecy foretelling their doom at each other's hands, fragmented glimpses of the past and future, and increasingly concerning clues about what, exactly happened to Carlos the Alchemist.

...when he finds Carlos and brings him home, he is dragging him to bed to take a nice, long nap.
