Relationships Post
This post is where I will elaborate on the relationships this particular Mikan has. While most are based on actual interaction between characters, some are based on headcanons. Also, if you've been mentioned in this post, it just means that you are the blog related to the character I'm talking about.
Ibuki Mioda: (Played by golden-fire-hair/shslscreechingmoe)
This is a dear friend of Mikan's who she feels she can count on. She worries often about Ibuki's safety though as Mikan thinks her friend is quite reckless when bored. Mikan also tries to show up to Ibuki's performances on a regular basis, though she isn't quite fond of the music genre.
From what Ibuki has told Mikan, she is in love with her and is jealous of the relationship. This makes Mikan feel awful as she treasures her relationship with Ibuki almost as much as she treasures that with Junko. In fact, whenever Junko treats her in less-than-desireable ways, she will have thoughts about Ibuki and how she would be so much happier and safer with her.
"Ibu-chan" is what she calls her friend.
Celestia Ludenberg: (Played by multiverseofmuses)
An intimidating but friendly person. Mikan isn't sure she can all this girl a true "friend" yet, but appreciates the effort greatly. Shortly after meeting, Celestia called out Mikan on her social skills and habits. Seems like only a gambler could see through everything that she does. Regardless of whether or not Celestia approves Mikan's actions, she offers her friendship and some advice on how to deal with people. Overall, Mikan looks up to Celestia and hopes to make her proud in one way or another.
"Celes-sama" is what she calls her friend
Hiyoko Saionji: (Played by ???/Various Interactions)
Hiyoko's aggressive actions confuse Mikan in a way that can't even be described. However, she cannot bring herself to hate the ankle-biter and actually tries to understand her sometimes. Most of the time however she only gets upset and complies with Hiyoko's commands. Maybe Koizumi would be able to control her actions?
Junko Enoshima: (Please refer to the Junkoverse post for more info)
Junko is Mikan's obsession, the one person she feels she needs in her life. However, their relationship, whether platonic or romantic is very unhealthy and abusive. Mikan will take any kind of verbal, mental, and physical abuse that Junko throws a her, all in hopes that she will be rewarded for her hard work. Junko is also the reasoning behind this url.
"Erotomania is a rare disorder in which an individual has a delusional belief that a person of higher social status falls in love and makes amorous advances towards him/her."
-Department of Psychiatry, University of Cambridge
Roxas: (Played by Keybladeofsorrow)
Roxas is probably the nicest boy Mikan can come to think of. He doesn't attend Hope's Peak Academy... in fact she's not sure where he's from at all, but something about him is just so appealing to her. She may quickly become attatched.
Marisa Kirisame: (Played by just-your-ordinary-magician)
Marisa seems so full of life, will Mikan even be able to keep up with her? Mikan is currently unaware that she and Marisa doesn't share the same world and thinks Marisa is an illusionist when she introduces herself as a Magician. She thinks Marisa is a sweet girl, but also thinks the magician thinks of her too positively in contrast to the amount the Mikan hates herself.
Byakuya Togami (Played by Byakuyakonami) always remember...
There is nobody who Mikan could hate more without them being someone who is trying to take Junko's heart. She sees him as an arrogant bastard who can't apprciate anything and looks down on everyone. Mikan is also aware of the not-so-tranquil relationship between him and her mistress, so she makes him a target to kill.
Togami has been missing in her life recently
Victor, the one and only (played by shslbrawl) always remember...
This relationship formed outside of any particular Junkoverse. Victor has always been a support for Mikan, a person to cry to, a person to keep her safe, a person to depend on. Ultimately, he may be even better than Junko, who gets off on her tears. Whether or not he was ever real is debatable, nobody Mikan knows was aware of his existance so when he suddenly disappeared Mikan was left to sit and think about it on her own. Regardless, she wants him back in her life... it may take a death or two, but when it comes to bringing Victor back, Mikan doesn't mind becoming Dr. Frankenstein....
Nanami Chikai (played by gemuhime)
Mikan doesn't know much about Nanami, but she's already quite appreciative of her.
THIS POST WILL FOREVER BE A WORK IN PROGRESS
