If there was one thing he hadn’t expected, it was wandering through some crevasse to end up in an entirely different place. For a moment he panicked, pulling his weapon from the arsenal and feeling someone else do exactly the same. One problem solved, but walking back through the now alley he’d landed in did not take him to where his friends were doubtlessly worried about him, just out onto another street that looked like what he’d seen in TV shows. Not the life he’d lived, but something he’d wanted to try once or twice.

So instead he wandered down the streets, greeting the people that looked at him with smiles and asked him where he came from. Each responded that they hadn’t heard of Lucis but if everyone there was as nice as he was, then they’d love to visit.

“E-excuse me... could you tell me where the train station is? I need to get home.”

“I’m glad you’re okay — that was a bad fall.”

Zen pressed his lips together as he crouched in front of Roxas, pulling an alcohol-free wipe from the first aid kit on the ground next to him. The two of them had gone to the park near his house ( he couldn’t remember the last time he spent a day simply having a good time ); they had only arrived a few moments prior before Roxas had tripped over a protruding tree root and inflicted a nasty scrape on his knee. Now, Roxas was seated on a bench nearby while the actor prepared to clean the wound with supplies in the kit he’d retrieved from his motorcycle back in the parking lot.

“I should’ve caught your arm sooner. God, I’m sorry.” Glancing up at Roxas, Zen continued, “This will sting, but not too badly.”

    TAKING on the hunts giving by the Tipsters, well more like on wanted monster hunts was what they needed to do at the moment. Getting low on gil in which they had used to replenish their supplies soon started to burn a hole in their pockets. Potions, maiden’s kiss, high-potions everything one needed to have to survive outside of their safe homes to venture out to the unknown. For them it was heading to Altissia seeing that the boats at Galdin Quay were not available. Just their luck.  ❝ You scared of spiders?  ❞

   Presented with the opportunity to get a closer look, Aoba’s surprised to find the guy’s a little older than he’d thought. His petite stature is near childlike, but there’s something a little more mature about his eyes - and the way he holds himself.     There is also, Aoba can’t help but note, a flood of uncertainty on those features.     “--Oh. Of course. What d’you need help with?” The answer’s immediate, voice pitched low so nobody overhears. The guy’s voice holds a worrying tremble, and everything about it inspires protective impulses. Maybe he’s just overreacting; the guy might just need directions.     Aoba doubts it.     “Um... It’s kind of loud here; we can go get a coffee, if you want?” He’s just finished work; he’s got time. It’s still early enough that a few cafes are open. He’s still not entirely sure why he’s offering a total stranger coffee ( and probably cookies, if he’s being honest ) but the guy’s looking cold and pale.     “Then you can tell me what’s wrong. Yeah?”
