「少量多品種」という領域でモノづくりに励む私たちにとって、避けては通れない極めて重要な課題があります。それは、数多くの製品を、いかに効率よく、正確に計測していくか、という点です。もちろん、計測マンを増員すれば解決できるわけですが、そういうわけにはいきません。
昨年8月、大物部品や複雑な形状に対応するため「3次元スキャナ」を導入しました。これにより測定可能な領域はぐーっと広がりました。とはいえ、これだけでは足りない…と感じる部分があったのも事実。
そんな中、弊社品質担当からの熱心な進言があり、今年2月にキーエンス社の画像寸法測定器「IM-X」のデモを実施していただきました。
実際に目の当たりにして、確信しました。これはいい！！
計測精度といったハードウェアのスペックはもちろん申し分ないのですが、何より驚かされたのはソフトウェアの秀逸さ。 一度、製品ごとの測定ポイントを登録してしまえば、繰り返し測定は驚くほどスムーズ。測定から結果の出力まで”秒”で完了します。この圧倒的なスピードと手軽さを確認し、すぐに導入を決断しました。
今回の導入により、弊社の測定室もいよいよ機材が揃い、活気づいてきました。
