Leo, more commonly known as Keys seemed to appear out of nowhere. First showing up at Roman Sionos bar, becoming a grunt for Toman because of his power. When he thinks of the place and room/or hallway he can pull a key for that door out of his skin. When he was robbing a bank for Mr Sionos he panicked and made ten wrong keys before the right one, making Batman call him Keys, and arrested him in the process but he slipped out of the GCPD very quickly. Then he was kidnapped by Belle Reve Penitentiary guards including Rick Flag. Meeting Amanda Waller was an experience, to say the least, he refused to join the squad but holding him upside down and dangling him in killer crocs cage made him change his mind really fast.

He didn't get along with most of the team but he and El Diablo connected with one thing they both killed their significant other. This didn't make them close but they had each other's backs. With the loss of El Diablo, he was;t sure what to do anymore. Yes, he was out of prison, but he lost a friend. So he went and helped Digger bother The Flash mostly because he was bored of Batman but soon returning to Gotham being welcomed back with a stab in his gut but Zsaz and being found by an acquaintance named Two-Face, who actually helped get him back to a hundred percent and then tried to shoot him.

But soon Amanda Waller came knocking again in the form of Javelin and he accepted without a fight this time because he thought maybe I will die. He was on the beach when shit hit the fan, his head didn't get blown off because he ran through the woods and met up with the other team. He bolted straight into Peacemaker and almost die, again, but Bloodsport saved his skin. As they went through the mission he got close with Harley again but also got close with Flag, he'd never say it but he really liked both of them and wanted to protect them, When it came to the Peacemaker and Flag fight, he got in between them and took the stab for Flag.

When he was dying he asked for two things, protect Harley and stop Peacemaker...Flag somberly agreed.
