Woahhh I am finally done with my keyframes mc!! 😊 I love her but she isn't the way I envisioned, sooooo I may redesign her when I have the time BUT classes have been killing me softly.

ALSO HER SOCIAL MEDIAAA!! I made her with a neopolitan aesthetic cuz I was debating real hard about what would match Su-ae. Likeee her fav color is pink, so I decided that she would also likes those soft warm tones make the pink stand out.

BUT ANYWHOO I really wanted to rant about my character I have been putting more thought into this than actually studying for my exams lmao. Sooooo here is info abt this sweetheart:

Su-ae Pernia-Choi is half korean and half filo, born in korea but grew up in PH before moving to the states at around 3 years old due to financial problems her grandparents had there. She grew up in New Jersey as the middle child between her two sisters. Even though she still keeps in contact with her family, Su-ae still somewhat holds a grudge to them (specifically her parents). She still loved them, but her heart still hurts from all the pressure and expectations that weigh on her.

Much of Su-ae's personality (dare I say personalities) have been shaped by things that could help her express what words couldn't. Music and art became a constant in her life. She developed a strong love for beautiful sounds. Oftentimes she would be singing a sweet song, or plucking the strings of her fathers busted up guitar if it fit the moment. Su-ae's creative era also followed suit. She loved working with her hands. Whenever there was a blank wall in her home, a creation of hers would be placed to fill in the empty void. Her father encouraged this, soon signing her up to an engineering program in high school. Fashion was another way Su-ae expressed herself. Some would tell her "School isn't a fashion show," but she never cared. To her, her body was a canvas where she could display her interests and her feelings.

At her core, Su-ae is a hopeless romantic. She's got a really terrible habit of romanticizing everything just to ease all the stress away. Even though she knows this is bad! Anything in her mind can turn ordinary moments into something straight out of a romance movie. Daydreaming comes more easily to her than studying, so Deja and Cam sometimes gotta knock that girl back into reality. Su-ae claims that lasting love is only a fantasy, yet in the back of her mind she hopes one day she'll meet someone who can love as deeply as she does...even if she knows no one would choose someone like her.

...so how do we feel about a keyframes horror au

this post is so horrifically overdue that's my bad but here we are-

i've had this idea marinating in my head for a little while of a "life is strange/final destination inspired horror edition" of keyframes that i wanna ramble about

i don't wanna say it's a completely thought out au but the basic idea is this:

somehow the main cast have found themselves wrapped up in a mystery that's resulting in each of them getting picked off one by one from a deadly threat, think a typical bloody slasher movie plot. the catch is that the MC have inexplicably found themselves stuck in a time loop that keeps resetting them back to the beginning of the horrors whenever they get killed

MC doesn't fully keep their memories from each loop, only retaining foggy bits and pieces. BUT every single picture they take on their camera from every loop is saved, giving them glimpses of what's been going on to them and their friends

so the idea is that using their fractured memories and whatever evidence they have on their camera, MC desperately has to try to string together the mystery and keep their friends from dying (no matter how hard fate keeps fighting against them) through each loop. and even if they managed to solve the mystery they will not consider it a victory unless no one dies. they have to save everyone.

repeat the loop. solve the mystery. save their friends. .....and pray they don't lose their mind in the process.

aaaand that's basically it! i thought of this under the pretense of it still being a video game hence the time loop thing. honestly i think this would also work if it was changed to a final destination type "premonition" and sorta have it work like until dawn or the quarry where the deaths are permanent you just have to hope you make the right choices to prevent it. whatever sounds more angsty for the MC

like i said i wouldn't say this is a fully fleshed out au. it's mostly just me wanting to imagine my favourite characters in a horror movie dhfjksfhj. if people like this and wanna use the idea then go ahead! be crazy be free put your OCs through the horrors of watching their friends get killed over and over
