Behold my Cindix brainrot!!!
-They have little "pet name fights" where they try to crack the other up with increasingly cheesy pet names. Felix usually wins on account of being raised to bury his emotions, but on the occasion he does lose, it's one of the few times you'd actually hear his loud natural laugh. -Because Felix is touch starved, sometimes he'll cling to Cindy without even realizing it like a big kitten. It takes her a bit, but she gets used to it. -Cindy is always trying to get Felix to try new things he otherwise wouldn't. She gets him his first proper candy bar. Felix would literally never admit this, but he kept that wrapper as a memento (only Teddy knows this). -Related to the above, Mr. Huxley absolutely despises their relationship because Cindy "has no class", this ends up being the spark that sets off Felix's desire to subtly rebel against his dad in his teens. -Felix commissioned a bouquet of rare flowers for Cindy on Valentine's Day, he also does this to give her more specimens for a herbarium they were making for biology class. -By the time they're around 15, Cindy has basically moved into the Huxleys' guesthouse because she's done with her mom's crap (I will definitely make another post about this). Felix does his best to be supportive but is also quietly glad that Cindy got away from her mom's toixicity. -Felix would literally never admit that he's sick and would try to go about his day like nothing happened. Cindy is the only person who can match his headstrong willpower enough to get him to sit back and eat some damn chicken soup. -By contrast, when Cindy is sick? Felix is losing it, he will not leave her side, and if he physically can't be there he's calling and texting her constantly. If she's at the Huxley estate and a member of staff gets one of her preferences slightly wrong they are gone. While being pampered does help Cindy get through things slightly easier, she really doesn't like seeing Felix stress himself out like that. -Cindy once signed them up for dance lessons as a bonding activity. Felix had already been forced into them years prior, so it's mostly just him helping her through it. They still have a great time with it, though. -To elaborate on why Cindy leaves home, her mom spoils her while at the same time having a low opinion of her. She sees Cindy's relationship with Felix as a ticking time bomb and had been expecting Felix to "get bored" of Cindy for years. She would often make comments suggesting this to her daughter and one day Cindy blew up at her over it, saying her mom was just resentful over her having the kind of stable relationship she never managed to find (which isn't entirely untrue) and their relationship never really recovered. -Ted is always ready to hype Felix up if he's nervous over an upcoming date for any reason, though it's usually just him being nervous over trying something new. -Cindy and Felix sometimes have weekend trips to a lakeside cabin. They also go there on father's day because they both need some peace and quiet to help each other work through some stuff on that day.
Ewwww. You stink.

[ITS KINDERGALA TIME]
[The beloved hostess paces the venue]
“Ahh, I can’t believe it took me this long to pick a dress! That’s really embarrassing. I hope it’s not too much, I feel a little silly all dressed up like this” Vivi brushes out her dress, tugging at the ruffles to fluff them out. She tries to investigate the back, doing a little twirl in the process of making sure she looks ok.
Mentally, she goes over her checklist, mumbling and counting on her fingers. “I sent invitations to everyone who’s allowed in, made sure to word it in a way that won’t freak people out too much. Being outside of reality is gonna freak people out inevitably but nothing I can do about that. I can’t lie to them about it. I even asked a few people for help, so I don’t just burst into flames from the stress. Might happen anyways, hehe. The whooolllee place is decorated and in tip top shape. Lots of food and drinks, places to chat, places to hide if it gets to be too much, I have everything figured out. Safety measures are in place…” she keeps rambling on to herself, lost in her own little world of worry.
