I'm feeling sappy because of an incredibly sweet dm I got so I thought I'd share my artist philosophy.

My goal is to inspire others to create. I want more people to see my work not for the fame but to inspire more artists. I go out of my way to make drawings for smaller creators, not just because I like making their day (which I do) but because it motivates them to keep going. To make that comic they werent sure they had the skill for, to share their ocs they were scared to get bullied for. Because I used to be that artist. I know how it feels. We aren't all that different, I used to be you. And i want you to know that I support you.

I remember years and years ago when bamsara made a small doodle for me for sending almost daily words of encouragement to them. I remember silverxcrystal frequently interacting with my fnaf ask blog, drawing doodles of my au characters interacting. Two artists I adored even before I joined tumblr. Little things that they might not even remember doing anymore but where huge to me at the time.

I KNEW having a mildly popular art based account meant art theft was an inevitable consequence.

However I did assume it would be multiple people. Not just one person making alt accounts to make increasingly less original copies of my comic with various amounts of traced art.

Timeloop theory is becoming increasingly plausible. I am LOOKING at those memory inconsistencies. I suspect it'll come up again with dandy too.

Finally started chapter 3 of TFoFA, and I think this dialogue is very funny. Avery experiences every emotion ever

“You have no idea-” Avery leaned hard against the pull out table, as if melting from boredom or despair, “how much I regretted not asking for your number or something last week.” He caught himself on the possible misinterpretation of that, sitting up straight again “because like, oh my god, my other classes are just,” he dragged his hands down his face in exasperation, “so boring. I needed SOMEONE to talk to. And my other classmates? Simply didn't meet the cut.”
