Day #8: Wilderness
Black and white photographs from Keaton Henson's 5 Years.
Day #6: Sighs
Keaton at a piano; photography from the Kindly Now album.
Day #2: Windows Illustrations of buildings from Keaton Henson’s 5 Years.
I’ve set myself a resolution… because for me it’s exam term, I thought it would be nicely motivational to post occasional poems or quotations from Keaton Henson’s ‘Idiot Verse’. Enjoy! And feel free to send me suggestions! Day #1: Idiot Verse
Day #4: Regrets Solitude tinging these early hours - Keaton Henson’s ‘Regret Me’ seemed apt.
Day #3: Shadows
I liked the way the sun came through my small window, enough to partially illuminate the verse.
I wouldn’t be so cruel to let the shadow take away half a stanza so enjoy The Pugilist (albeit with shadowy pattern of my laced tights)…
Textures
Having failed on my daily Keaton challenge, I’ve turned to music - specifically Poulenc - to inspire me. Coincidentally, today my dress’s fabric catches some of the artwork’s tones! I’m over half way through exams and now certain that half my motivation comes by imagining pairing outfits with whichever literary period I’m thinking about…
Day #16: Brush strokes
Received this beautiful card today, it's by an artist called Paul Milner. It gives me hope for summer days of reading amongst the wildnerness.
