Lost Souls Are... Sorta trapped.
Now how did this happen? I think you broke the Labyrinth. The latest stranger in the Underground was literally trapped in a box of walls, with no way out. Unless you examined the wall hard enough to see a brick coloured button that blended in quite nicely. Then you can get out.
