DAMN YOUR CALIBRATIONS Mass Effect, Reader Insert/Garrus Vakarian. A little humorous story about a shy C-sec officer who followed Garrus onto the Normandy, giving him little courting gifts in the hopes of being noticed and having your affections returned.
Do asks count? Cause the Blue Screen Ultron is one I return to regularly for a quick laugh. It's such a silly thing that's just so touching I'm glad I got asked that back in 2019.
The entire Dancing in Despair series I'm kind of cheating here as there are 3 fics so far with 1 WIP and 2 in the outlining stage for a total of five novels. But this was the first series I started with two goals in mind: 1) keep it rated T, no smut beyond fade to black/implications, no overt violence and 2) explore Star Wars within the Regency themes that George Lucas mixed into the Sci-fi world. It has been fantastic as a challenge and I definitely encourage other smut writers to push themselves into the T/Lite M sphere for their own writing skills.
I legit could not have started this series had the Padmenic never happened, and I had not met my SW hype Writer @novemberblueskyink. They are -legit- the reason it became longer than the first chapter one shot it was before. They are the reason I've learned and explored so much in terms of story telling, pacing, dialogue, and researching. I'm so glad to have started this series back in 2020 - with them helping as a rubber duck/novel expert - and I have every intent to finish it.
Break, We'll Help You Put Yourself Back Together Again, Another Star Wars Fic featuring a Poly!Batch x Medic!Reader. This was a mix vent for all the drama going on in my life, while also getting a little comfort from my favorite blorbos at the time. I look forward to rewatch The Bad Batch again.
And most recently: Sectarians. Of course I had to talk about the Devil Raphael! He's such a charming, charismatic, Lawful Evil Theater Kid why wouldn't I write about him?! And it gave me the excuse to write about Cults? The things I wrote my Bachelors of Psychology thesis on? Hells yeah, I'm going to write about Raphael having a cult! I'll be worse than his in-game IRL fanfics about himself and the Crown of Karsus, and I Will Write It Proudly!
