ok, it's actually quite terrible, when I look at it closer, but damnit, this is as close to success as I've gotten over the passed few days of trying to get his features right. But now I'm gonna call it good about here, and move on to the next, before Khayne drives me nuts.
The previous failed attempts have made him come out looking like a manga emo dude, a drag queen, a monster and mister potato head.
"I stopped caring, somewhere during my time here, so when the cowardly jawas told me they wanted to run away because their droids were being slaughtered, I simply told them to keep going. Granted, I would have managed without them, but I am so tired of being nice to those who simply won't try hard enough.
Why is it so blasted hard to act, rather than sitting on the sideline, assessing the situation? If that is how you operate, the enemy will overpower you before you can think about a tactical retreat.
Though I am relieved, at least to a degree, that Master Kiwiiks is safe, even though she took quite a beating when attempting to stop the Shock Drum from taring Tatooine apart. It would have been no loss, but there isn't much I would not do for Kira.
And with Kiwiiks saved, all that remains is Master Orgus Din. A part of me wishes he is already dead, so I will not have to deal with another Master's lecture on how to get things done, when their ways obviously failed them."
"I made a mistake, changing sides. I see that now. There's a lot of things I dislike about the Empire, but at least they have a sense of honor. Lord Praven was a fine example of that.
He made me a deal; fight him in an honest duel, and if I won, I'd be given the device to shut off the Shock Drum. Of course, he made a speech about how I should join them, give into the Dark Side, and... I know Kira thinks less of me for it, but I believe I already have.
I must admit, though, that I killed him much more for the pleasure of taking his life than honoring the deal of killing him. I will rescue Master Kiwiiks, for Kira's sake, but I don't know how much longer I will be able to keep up this charade."
"I cannot express how much hatred flows through my veins, nor can I put into words how hard it was to keep my lips sealed on the matter when I received my next orders from General Var Suthra. I can no longer see the light side of the force, for it has been tainted and abused by the Republic beyond recognition.
That was part of the reason I decided to keep my Kira's secret quiet. They have not yet earned my trust, and so I will not expose her to the same injustice that I have seen so far. It calms my seething mind to see her smile...
But the galaxy has little time to spare, and knowing the Empire, my enemy has been busy. The General has tasked me to travel to Tatooine and Alderaan, in search for our missing Masters, Kiwiiks and Orgus, and for the prototype for another superweapon they built a long while ago: The Shock Drum.
Giving me the instructions to meet with a seismologist named Hare'en, I've set course for Tatooine, with only one goal in mind: Find and rescue Master Kiwiiks. Even asLord Praven -- slave and loyal servant to Darth Angral -- interrupted my holocall, asking me to dual him, retrieving and shutting down the Shock Drum has the lowest priority.
I will meet with him first, if for no other reason than to release my rage."
"Make no mistake; my devotion to my parents and my legacy has remained unchanged. After all, I wound not be where I am if it were not for them. No... If I were to judge the Empire on how my family raised me, I would gladly have trained to be a Sith, like my father and my sister before me..."
"Nuh-uh!" he stated stubbornly, his crimson face wrinkled with skepticism. "You're lying!"
"Am not!" Zarazha replied, sticking her tongue out at him. "It really happened, for really real!"
He turned toward his parents, his face still stained with disbelief, demanding a confirmation before he even opened his mouth. "She's lying, right, father? She didn't really drain 2V of oil by pulling his circuits using the Force, did she?"
His father simply smiled at him, his red eyes hiding secrets he never revealed. "Why not find out for yourself, hm? Why ask me?" A sly and almost evil smirk coiled on his lips as he leaned forward to tell him something privately. "All I know is that your sister is currently attempting to repair him."
He chewed on the words for a second, still frowning as he searched his father's face for clues of either truthfulness or deception. He still hadn't mastered the ability to use the Force to see someone's true allegiance, and didn't know if it would work on lies as well as loyalty, so his answer remained unanswered. He grunted, pulling his small feet to himself as he turned to face his younger sister, who was happily smiling a prideful grin at him.
He couldn't take it. He had to know. "You guys are mean!" he exclaimed, getting up from his seat and ran as fast as he could to Kheyla's chambers. He knew very well his father hadn't specified which sister was doing repairs, but he was far from stupid. Jaerah wouldn't have touched 2V to do repairs if her life depended on it.
As he reached the door, however, he stopped, pondering the possible outcomes of the scenario. If Zarazha hadn't been lying, it meant that she was getting better than him at using the Force, but if she were lying, it meant he had been fooled. Again. He bit his lip, looking at the door with questioning eyes, unsure if he should knock, or simply let it be. In either case, she wouldn't win this time... Grunting silently, he knocked on the door.
It had only taken a few moments before Kheyla opened it, and he immediately stuck his head in to see if 2V was there. "Are you doing repairs on 2V?" he asked, getting straight to the point.
"I am," she replied, looking at him with a confused expression. "One of his circuits came off when Zarazha was playing with him, so I have to repair him before dinner time."
"Oh..." A look of disappointment slipped across his face as he stopped searching for the droid. But it didn't take long before his demeanor changed to frustration and skepticism once again. "Did she use the Force?"
"Not to my knowledge," Kheyla replied, seeming puzzled.
He grunted, staring back toward the living room where Zarazha was likely laughing to herself, happy that she'd yet again managed to outsmart him. But he'd had enough. It was time to teach the wretched girl a lesson. "Ok, thank you!" he said to Kheyla as he ran further down the hall, back toward the bedroom he was sharing with his sister. She had made a fool out of him for the last time...
He needed to come up with something... Something that both proved he was stronger in the Force than her, and that he was smarter than her, but he had no idea where to even start. His eyes then fell upon the drone they were using to learn how to sense danger around them, and a plan slowly formed in his head... If he could somehow use the Force to activate it whenever she was near it, he could have it zap her whenever he wanted! Granted, that would only prove to her that he was more skilled in the ways of the Force, so he still had to find out how to outsmart her...
His small hands wrapped around the metallic ball, picking it up before he glanced down the hallway outside his room. He knew she was a far better liar than him, and so, if he wanted to fool her, he had to be honest. She would never believe him if he told her he had managed to make the drone fly without being activated, and, grinning to himself, he simply closed the door to their room, sat down as he placed the drone in front of him and stared at it.
Time had passed by faster than he had managed to keep track of it, trapped in the concentration of attempting to make the drone turn itself on. He didn't need it to hover by using the Force -- not yet. He just wanted it to be turned on and start zapping Zarazha. A low humming came from it as he gritted his teeth and clenched his fist, exclaiming: "Turn yourself on, you useless piece of junk!" He could barely believe his eyes as it started hovering, slowly, and he blinked a few times in disbelief. "Okay... That's progress..."
The drone spun, turning itself toward him as though having him targeted, before it sent out a very mild, but well placed and still painful zap. "Ow!" he exclaimed, staring at the thing with a disappointed expression. Before he'd managed to decide if he should attempt to turn it off using the Force, or simply catch it and push the off button, it zapped him again. "Stop that!" he said, staring at it angrily. It wouldn't help, but that didn't matter. "Turn yourself off!" It wasn't a suggestion, and as he had said the command, he let the rage of being zapped flow through him, resulting in the drone turning itself off, falling to the floor at his feet. It wasn't a perfect plan, but it would have to do.
Part one was completed, and he grinned to himself. That would show her... Smiling happily, he ran into the living room again, practically stumbling in his own feet with excitement. Finally, he'd get her back. "Zara!" he called. "Zara, you have to see this!"
She hadn't moved from her spot. In fact, she was sitting and staring at their father as he was bending a piece of metal to shape a piece of jewelry. "Did you find 2V?" she asked, grinning that stupid, smug grin of hers as she turned her face toward him. "Kheyla just finished repairing him, and he's cooking now, if you want to ask him about how he broke."
"Oh, I stopped caring about that," he replied, his lie filled with an impressive amount of arrogance as he lifted his head. "I decided to go train on my abilities instead. You should come see what I can do!"
Her face quickly turned from proud and arrogant to curious and skeptical as she raised her crimson brow, tilting her head slightly to the right. "Can't you just tell me?" she asked.
"As if you'd believe me if I just told you. You have to see it for yourself." There was an almost overwhelming feeling of pride surging within him. Not only because he'd actually managed to activate the drone by using the force, but also because his lies sounded convincing enough for him to be curious about it. His eyes quickly moved toward his parents, who were both still sitting in their sofa, each of them as curious as he wanted Zarazha to become.
"All right..." she said, standing up slowly. "But if you're lying to me, you're the next ingredient in 2V's dinner!"
He said nothing as he escorted her back toward their bedroom, the drone still lying exactly where he left it. He stopped a good distance between himself and the object, to make sure it wouldn't zap him at all. "You go in, so you can see that I'm not using any strings to fool you," he said, nodding at her with a friendly smile on his face, all while laughing evilly loudly on the inside.
"Why are you all the way over here?" Zara asked before she did as she was told.
"Visual effect," he replied. "Besides, out here, I can't be using any string, so you know for sure that I'm not lying to you."
Hesitating slightly, Zara walked into the bedroom and stopped next to the drone, waiting impatiently for what was to come.
He forced back a grin as he closed his eyes, stretching out his right hand as he focused hard on turning the device on. Once he knew it had been done, he opened them again, slowly lifting his hand at the same time as the drone moved off the floor, to make it seem as though he was simply lifting it. "Pretty neat, huh?" he asked her as the drone stopped, hoping it would wait a few seconds before it started firing at her.
She stared at it in disbelief, without saying anything other than "woaaahhh...." But no amount of blinking or rubbing her eyes would make the drone stop hovering. "You are soooo good!" Her voice was dripping with envy as she turned toward him, just as the drone powered itself on to catch her off guard.
He chuckled to himself in anticipation of what was to come, not having noticed that his parents were both standing behind him.
Then it happened, the moment he'd been waiting for... Zap. Just as her head turned back toward the drone... "Ow!" she cried. "It zapped me!"
He attempted to put on a mildly shocked expression. "What? How could that be? It's not on! Must be broken."
Zap. "Owww! It did it again! You've turned it on, haven't you?!"
"No, I swear. I just made it hover!" He bit his tongue, chuckling evilly to himself.
Zap, zap. "D'amian! Make it stooop, or I swear I will have you fed to a pack of ravenous gundarks!" She placed both hands on her head, and started running from it as she screamed, and he could no longer contain himself, laughing maniacally at the sight.
"Why don't you just use the force to drain it of its power, like you did with 2V?" he asked her, teasingly.
"You're so dead!!" she replied, running straight passed him, chased by the drone that had now been fully activated.
D'amian couldn't stop laughing, his back leaned against the wall as his feet failed to keep him standing.
"Your children are delightfully sadistic, Master," he could hear his mother say, though he had no control over any body part, and couldn't stop laughing no matter how hard he tried.
His father chuckled softly. "Well, they learned from the best," he responded. "And a little rivalry between siblings never harmed anyone..."
"I had to make a choice... Let innocent people die, or risk the Empire getting their hands on the Doctor's weapons. I know Kira disapproved of my decision, but even she should realize that a few lives lost is worth the sacrifice on a grand scale. Though I would personally use them to see the end to both sides at this point... I cannot get behind their cause, just as I could not get behind the Empire... Someone has to show them that there is more to the Force than just the light and the dark...
They're all delusional, they're all hypocritical cowards hiding behind a fake peace treaty, and both sides are preparing for full war. What do I have to do to find someone who understands this?"

[And here's part two. A bit of a spoiler/teaser in the intro there, and I do hope I get around to write everything. But, alas, I have not yet discovered a way to duplicate myself so that I can write everything at once.]
