I love my bell hat. :)
Kheari and Aric's little boy Arn all grown up and a trooper like his parents. :)
Below is Tessy Sherastiliin. Arn and Tessy have much written about them in our little joint history. A bit of it is posted on our thistle.sherastiliin posts on Fanfiction.net.
:)
Posting writings :)
I really do have some Kheari pieces coming up, they've just been being stubborn in working their way out of my head. (Kheari/Aric Jorgan)
And Shera and I have been blasting through stuff on our AU Sith Warrior/Imperial Agent/Sith Inquisitor/multiple Andronikos Revels mushup. Well we think we are going great guns anyway. Our posts on that seem to be kinda not many people's cuppa but that's ok too. Fun stuff after all just writing. :)
Family is about the heart: Kheari and Aric, Headcannon, no spoilers
Kheari watched Aric sleep taking a nap while watching a holo with Arn, who was also asleep, curled up close against Aric's chest, a peaceful look on his face.
Aric, was going to be...was...an amazing father. And they had a little boy who had come to depend on them, and who might not understand all that well that their leaving didn't mean they weren't coming back. That they were coming back...because neither of them would ever be able to bear not coming back to be a family...with him.
She stared at the message on the holo again. These past few weeks had been the best break they'd had in awhile. But they had new leads, and their job wasn't finished till Rakton was done.
Talking about where we go after the Gauntlet: Headcannon, Aric and Kheari, references to the Gauntlet series and Rakton but no quest references
Kit looked up at Aric with a serious expression on her face. "Aric, I've been thinking.."
He grinned playfully. "Uh oh that's dangerous. What about?"
She punched him lightly in the arm. "I'm serious. I've been thinking. I don't know if I want to keep doing this. I thought I was helping, doing something important for the Galaxy. I"m not so sure anymore."
Aric slid his arm around her. "Belsavis really hit you in the gut didn't it?"
"Yes, but it wasn't just that. It's been building up. We need to finish this. Get Rakton, and eliminate that threat but once its over I want a change."
Sometimes things just click, part 2: Headcannon, Kheari and Aric, no spoilers
Aric and Arn walked quietly together while Kheari scouted ahead for a good spot in the park.
"Mr. Eli is your Dad?"
Nodding Aric replied, "Foster Dad, and yes my Dad. Lost my family when I was 10. We were settlers. Imperial attack. I was the only survivor. I ended up here on Corellia at the foster home. Mütte and Dad took me in, they were just fostering then, not running the place. I was a handful. Had a lot of problems coming to terms with surviving when the others didn't. Was me and then later Rooni, and lots of others, we always had a houseful."
"You were their first foster?"
Aric chuckled. "Yeah I think they figured if they could survive me they could survive a lot more kits."
Arn looked up at Aric thoughtfully. " You call him Dad though."
Aric nodded. "Yeah he's my second Dad. I'll never forget my family. But Pop wouldn't have wanted me to not have someone. And Mom sure wouldn't grudge it. Just took me awhile to figure out it wasn't betraying them to love someone else too."
Arn sidled closer to Aric as they walked and gripped his hand tighter. Stopping and kneeling down, Aric looked in Arn's face and gave him a hug. "I know it doesn't seem like it right now, but it does help to talk sometimes. And I'm glad to listen if you need someone to talk to."
Kit waved from up ahead and yelled. "I found a spot guys! You coming?"
Aric stood up and waved. "Yeah on our way."
Aric looked down mischievously and laughed and picked Arn up and swung him up to his shoulders. "Come on Arn. Let's go see what's she's found."
Sometimes things just click, meeting a little boy: Aric and Kheari, Headcannon, no spoilers
Arn glanced up at the foster home village playground and noticed a new person walking around the exercise grounds. She was small, not Cathar. He sat up and looked at the tattoos on her face and smiled. He walked quietly over to where she was and tilted his head observing her closely.
Kit smiled at the little boy walking up to her, striped like Aric with golden fur. She waved and grinned. "Hi I'm Kit. What's your name?"
A Short drabble of rest and recreation on Corellia after Belsavis: Aric and Kheari, no spoilers
Aric stood with Mütte and Dad with a beer in hand talking at a family gathering. He and Kit had a few day break after Belsavis and had headed home to see Rooni's new kit and visit and relax. Joorni joined them filling Aric in with all the details of his boot camp excited to share his sniper training with Aric.
Aric caught sight of Kit stomping his way holding a crying Ilysa's hand and tracked the direction of her gaze.
"Joorni? What did you say to Ilysa?"
Joorni looked puzzled. "Hmm...oh someone had been filling her head with nonsense about being a Trooper. I told her she'd never be big or strong enough to be a Trooper. Why?"
Aric nodded. "Mütte, Dad, you might want to move back from Joorni. He's gonna need some room in a minute."
Joorni looked up around the time Kit grabbed his shirt and threw him into the empty space nearest where he had been standing, stomped over to him and picked him up with one arm and slammed him into a wall. "Ilysa's too little....to ever be strong enough...hmmmm....."
Joorni looked wide eyed at the small Mirialian woman holding him against the wall by one arm. "Ummm....who are you?"
Aric held up a finger. "Mine."
Joorni looked at her, focused on her face and blinked. "I was clearly mistaken. Yes. Um, Ilysa could certainly be strong enough to do anything she wants..Yes..."
Kit looked over her shoulder at Ilysa smiling. She turned back to Joorni. "Good answer." She abruptly let go, letting him fall into a heap on the floor.
Kit gave Ilysa a hug and picked her up and carried her on her hip over to Mütte. She looked apologetically at her. "Sorry about that, I tried not to make too big a mess."
Mütte smiled and hugged Kit. "It's fine dear. I'm sure Joorni will recover." She glanced around the room chuckling. "And I think it entertained the whole family."
