Out of curiosity, do you have a headcannon for why sylvari Kheeil doesn't have a bioiluminescent glow like most 'vari? Or if it had been mentioned, my bad for not seeing it aha.
I figured since the creator came with a glow ‘slider’ that possibly the intensity of a glow is just another thing like foliage colour or bark hue- Varies from Sylvari to Sylvari. Kheeil ended up being very dark and nonglowy and stealthy, matching his profession as a thief and his birth into the night cycle. His eyes still have the glow, though, even if the rest of him doesn’t.
Though I have been considering a possible, non ‘just born that way’ reason, that the lack of glow could be a relic of trauma suffered at the hands of the Nightmare Court. He is not the healthiest Sylvari, hasn’t been since escaping them. Splintery barkskin he picks at a lot and dry, dead leaftips are things he already there (etc), I guess impaired glowyness could also be a thing among the other problems he has!
Still figuring him out a bit so may change, shall see.
