Yooo there was a new KHUx update (So, KHUX spoilers for the rest of this ask)! I was too lazy to try and understand everything, but short version: Ven was the one whose name wasn't on the original list. He says he got the book from Master Ava, though, and he seems to be the only one who got it near the tower and not on that hill near Daybreak Town. Meanwhile, Darkness shows Maleficent some coffin-like machines in a vault, Lauriam confronts her and politely tells her he'll kill her.

Before I fell asleep I saw a post comparing one shot in the update to somewhere else in another game and for the life of me I can't remember where that was but judging by the aesthetic it was Hollow Bastion(probably KH1 version). It showed that the coffin things in the update looked exactly like coffins in the other location to the point it's probably the same machine and I'm willing to bet that's how they get to the future.

But there's six coffins, yes? Ephemer is likely dead and with Brain likely being Eraqus's ancestor it wouldn't make sense for him to go into the future. So there's Skuld, Ven, Lauriam, and Elrena. As well as Player, but I think we can all assume Player isn't going to the future. Now, not all six have to be used obviously, and there might just be six for the sake of looking exactly like the same machine from the other game in the series, buuut... there is Demyx and Luxord's somebodies left to reveal(tho, at this point they might not even get revealed in KHUX tbh). But hey, I can hope!

Anyway, I don't know the context cuz I haven't seen anymore than that.

OH WAIT SHIT! Maleficent could use one of them!!!! I mean, even if Laurie's gonna try to fight her, at some point she could still use it up and it might work as such that once it's used it can't be used again! So going over it again, this time Maleficent, Skuld, Ven, Laurie, and Elrena. That's five. Who's left is Ephemer, Brain, and Player. Again, Eph dead in the KG and Brain off having kids like twenty years down the line, that leaves Player. BUT I REALLY DON'T THINK PLAYER WOULD GO TO THE FUTURE! Maybe Eph is already dead by the point they time travel or something is keeping any of the three of them occupied and unable to travel with the others. Maybe that one coffin breaks and becomes unusable or some completely unknown person uses it up before the rest of them. Maybe Player really does travel with them???? I don't know!!! Maybe Ven's Chirithy uses it!!!!

Okay, anyway, anyway, anyway. Ven wasn't picked and that kinda makes sense tbh. Him still getting tbe book from Ava cuz she defied the list MoM made pretty much confirms for me this is NOT the 'traitor Ven' situation. He was still picked, just not by MoM. And Brain got a book from Ava, right? And so did Streli, and Eph, and Skuld, but do we have full confirmation then that Laurie got one from her? Are we still worrying about who killed and took Streli's book. I've been out of the loop, I'm not fully sure what's happened in the past few updates. We still have one book too many right? There's still the factor that someone in the group has Streli's book, yes? Is it still possible that someone was given a book by a fake Ava? If Ven got the book in a different location, then maybe a fake Ava wouldn't know that they're supposed to get the book on the hill. But we also saw Streli getting the book on a bridge right? Or did she not get the book during that scene? I'm still too groggy to feel like checking. Either way, I still think someone was given Streli's book by a fake Ava, possibly Darkness in disguise.

And what does Laurie know about Maleficent??? Was he just like 'this is a villainous looking character. She probably had something to do with my sister's disappearance. Guess the only thing to do is kill her then!' Or extreme violence is just his go to for getting rid of weirdos lurking around fjfnfjfnfkn

Hold up! I've had a thought(that's rare)! Okay, so if that machine is for time travelling, and there's only one, then it wouldn't make sense for the group that travels to end up at different places and/or slightly varying points in time. If there's two machines, then where was the second one originally and why would it be in (presumably) Hollow Bastion like, a thousand years later or however long? There's no way there can be a second machine for them to pop up in. Who knows where Norty found Ven, Skuld appeared in the center of Radiant Garden, and we don't know about anyone else. The machine wouldn't make you sit there for a millennium like it's a cryogenic freezer or transport you to a second one in the future. Otherwise they all woulda woken up together. It had to have just zapped them into different places in the future! So then what's up with the other one? Is it a recreation? Was the old one scavenged from the ocean beneath Scala and eventually moved around enough to end up in its new location? Who got the idea to build a second one? Why does it look like an exact copy? It must be the same machine then, right? SO HOW DID IT GET THERE???

Regarding the most recent Union Cross Story update (SPOILERS)

So the scene picks up where it left off from the last update; Brain talked with Ephemera regarding the union leader who wasn't on the list while they wait for Skuld and Ventus to arrive.

Once they get there, he recaps that he wasn't the one meant to receive the book and that someone among the Union leaders was not on the original list and whatnot. I dont know about you guys, but this scene felt dragged out, most likely to build up suspense.

After Skuld asks if Ava was the one to replace Strelitzia, because of her mysterious disappearance, Brain goes on to state his reasoning as to why that wouldn't be the case.

After some talk, it was revealed by Ephemera that Lauriam was also one of the chosen leaders. I found it interesting that Ava would choose a pair of siblings to both be leaders.

So finally the moment we've all been waiting for. After a lot speculation and theories from the fandom, Brain confirms that the unchosen leader is Ventus. I don't think this automatically makes him the murderer of poor Strelitzia, but it does make sense as to why Ven has such an overwhelming amount of darkness in his heart. Unless his backstory (before becoming a union leader) is darker than we anticipated. Before Brain reveals it tho, something him and Ephemera say has my interest. They talk about the false leader not having any "self-awareness". I have to assume this means regarding their own status as a union leader. Ven claims that he was chosen by Ava near the clock tower, so if that's the case, it would make sense for him to be there and why he would believe that he is a leader. But the fact that his name isn't on the list means that something doesn't add up.

Okay, I know all the discussion about the newest story update in KHUX has already gone down, but I just watched the MoM and Luxu convo for myself and now I need to talk about it and my own theories cuz it feels like strong evidence for the Sora is MoM theory. So yeah, that's where this is gonna go. I'm gonna try to cut to the chase here cuz it's 6am and I'm never good at explaining things.

So right off the bat, MoM specifies he was a boy. Sora partakes in his first real Keyblade War at 15(yes, he's still 15 in KH3). In the bigger picture of things, what directly gets the ball going for him directly happens when he's 14. And even earlier than that as a newborn he helps Ven, who partakes in the first war Xehanort tries to start and being a baby can qualify as part of the time when you're a kid. Honestly, the second Xehanort started getting up to shit was essentially when it started anyway if you wanna get broad with the terminology.

This is kind of an easy one, cuz there was no one else that we know of during any point in KH that was called the Master of Masters before MoM was introduced. It could also imply that MoM gave himself that title and he's the very first/only one. It's pretty straightforward if he is Sora then. After everything Sora's done so far, and probably will do in the future, I'd say he's earned the right to start calling himself the Master of Masters.

This one's kinda tricky cuz it's hard to tell if MoM is trying to avoid answering the question or if he really didn't know much about other Keyblade wielders existing. It's also a bit confusing cuz it's said he 'forged' the first Keyblade. I feel like if he is Sora, and considering MoM's personality, the first one makes more sense. All the Guardians of Light were Keyblade wielders, but Donald and Goofy, as well as Yen Sid, helped them out. He also could have his reasons for not wanting to out right say so since Luxu might want to question him more about that. (Also the translation sounds kinda wonky here cuz the second half of his answer sounds like it would make more sense if the first half was esentially 'No' or 'I don't think so')

I've seen people suggest he's referring to Nobodies when Luxu asked about the darkness. That actually seems really likely cuz, yeah, there's several human shaped Heartless, but Nobodies all look extremely more humanoid than your average Heartless. Even the Org members look indistinguishable from Somebodies. The only ones that don't look humanoid are the little ones that look like a pair of feet and sometimes change into that weird disc-like shape. And most of the folks Sora fought in the war were Nobodies(Larxene, Marluxia, Luxord, Saix, Xemnas, and Xigbar). MoM saying "but it's a bit different from now" could have to do with the fact that we haven't seen any Nobodies at all in KHUX(cuz seriously if wielders are dying(and we know they are) then you'd think their hearts would be strong enough to produce a Nobody, so where are they???).

Whether he's talking about Heartless or Nobodies doesn't really matter. For Sora the Heartless appeared on Destiny Islands when he was 14 and he basically hasn't gotten a chance to rest since then. He's still got more to do too. If he's talking about Nobodies, they've been pushing the war agenda more than the Heartless considering all the pieces Xemnas tried to put into place what with wanting to use the other Nobodies as Xehanort vessels, who would make up the 13 darknesses to fight in the war. Xehanort and his vessels started the war, and since Sora's fighting isn't done, it's totally reasonable that things could get worse and/or everything he's going to do will make it feel like the war is still ongoing.

If MoM is Sora then it's obvious he's been through a lot. Especially since that would mean some time travel/time looping stuff has been keeping him busy for so long. There's no way he wouldn't need a break from all his work. And the bystander part is most interesting. I feel like in comparison to all of Sora's other work, him being MoM would feel like the part where he sits down and works on something on the side that'll help out later. Meaning he's gotta take a side trip from all the other work. So you could say his time as MoM makes him a bystander since he's not still out there doing the heavy lifting part at the moment. At the least he wants to get back out there finally and do some direct action.

But anyway, if there's anything that goes against any of this then feel free to dispute it. Even I know there's a couple things that make it really complicated to actually work out. But at the same time we still don't know everything and who knows what else Sora is gonna through in the future that could add to the theory.

What are your thoughts on the fact that Brain was given a leader’s rule book by Ava? I just found out about it and am freaking out over the fact that brain was a chosen leader so he couldn’t have been the one to kill Strelitzia to take her spot?

Wow, great information to wake up to. /s No really, I'm fuckin' pissed. Fuck this man. I hate this. Okay, here's an idea. Luxu is the one saying Brain is a virus and shouldn't be there. Brain is very much the virus, I will hold onto that with the fury of a thousand demons. So, perhaps Brain wasn't one of the people who's name was on the list. Ava did choose him, but in favor of someone that it actually should have been. So he's still replacing someone, just not in a super bad way. Maybe all the stuff he's up to is what Ava wants, or she just made a really bad decision in not following the list.

I honestly am now leaning way more towards the theory Lua and I came up with about Darkness being Strelitzia's killer. So the question is then, who has Streli's book? It could possibly still be Brain if Ava had anything to do with Streli's death, but that doesn't make sense. Honestly if she had anything to do with it and got Streli's book back then any one of them could have her book, but like I said, that doesn't make sense.

Okay, okay. Looking at Luxu's reports again, he only specifies the person not being someone the Master chose. Meaning that yeah, Ava totally could have deviated from the list and Brain is still the virus.

So back to Streli's book. Someone does have her book, unless there were more than five rule books, which honestly with how much I don't like any of this, that would be a much nicer possibility. Anyway, ignoring my bias best I can here, if there really is only five books, then someone has Streli's. If Darkness killed Streli, then I wanna put my money on Darkness impersonating Ava and- No, no, no, no.... No. But, wouldn't Luxu say something about two of the five not being who they should be? I was thinking Darkness gave Streli's book to Ven under the guise of Ava, but that would mean both Ven and Brain weren't on the list.

No, I've got it. The one in the screenshot is Darkness disguised as Ava! Brain thinks he's supposed to be there! Ava did choose all of the five on the list! But Darkness killed Streli, impersonated Ava, and gave Brain her book so he would think he was chosen!! Now he really is either doing what he thinks Ava wants him to, or he's going AWOL cuz he wasn't vetted by MoM as a safe choice! This is what Darkness wants!!! Darkness is setting everything up y'all!!

I got it. This is what I'm going with until proven wrong... again.

Plot twist: Ava is the killer. She killed Streli because she was the one with the book of prophecies. She passed Streli’s rulebook to Brain and left the book of prophecies where all the new leaders could read it. She did this because when she found out the MoM’s plan from Luxu she started trying to stop it.

PTA, you gotta chill my dude cuz yo. Wait, no! Right, right, right. One of them is supposed to get the Book of Prophecies from Luxu, but have they gotten it yet? I don't think that's happened yet, right? I'm too lazy to go check on this one, but I'm pretty sure it hasn't happened it. And Streli getting killed has definitely already happened.

WAIT NO FUCK! Good thing I did decide to go look it up! I got it all wrong, I remember everything so poorly with my terrible memory! You're doin' some major galaxy brain thinking here! The one to get the book already has it!!!

Why kill Streli? Why kill her out of the five of them?? Cuz she had the book! I feel like I've said this before, this feels familiar... Anyway, that's the motive. But then why Ava? I looked at some cutscenes, and while there is a mention about when the bell rang, I can't figure out if Streli was/could have been killed before or after the bell. The bell rang when Ava and Luxu attacked each other after talking. Nonononono! The war started at the bell, basically. I'm pretty sure we don't have any information of the time frame between the bell ringing and the first time we see Player in the war. I just kinda doubt everyone immediately charged out there to kill each other, but I do also highly doubt- NO FUCK AGAIN! I'm remembering everything at the worst possible times!!! Streli left her room obviously before the war cuz she was just chilling in bed!!!! It was right there! Fuck! It was before the war began, before Ava and Luxu interacted, before Ava could have any reason to do that! And it's fucking Ava! She could easily just ask Streli for the book back! Streli is sweet enough that she'd just give it back anyway!

So it couldn't have been Ava and it shouldn't have been Luxu cuz he was off observing, yes? I think the general consensus(as well as mine) is shifting to Brain not being the killer and I will blatantly and purposefully ignore any and all consideration of it being Ven. So that does leave Darkness!

And now we are back to my theory! Darkness killed Streli so he could take the Book of Prophecies from her! And to add on to another part of the theory, Darkness disguised as Ava will give the book to Brain and he will think it was meant to his the whole time! Or that's already happened. I guess we don't know when Brain and possibly-Ava-possibly-not actually meet.

So, no galaxy brain thinking! You are wrong, PTA!

KHUX Quest 960

I’m not gonna spoiler what’s happening, it’s more of a recap(pretty general, and i hope, short)

The Union Leaders Brain, Skuld, Ephemer and Ventus are dealing with the thing i don’t wanna spoiler about

Lauriam is on the floor of the weird time-travelling machine(while he along with everyone else is still in the virtual Daybreak Town) 

MC/Player....tho...is trying to fix tons of problems related to “Ralph’s world” while technically, Ephemer supposed to help MC/Player to chase a bunch of Darklings, but we know where is Ephemer(Talking with Brain+Skuld+Ventus)...MEANWHILE, Skuld is apparently unaware of where is MC/Player, hell she played with Ventus like 60-70 quests ago! (the snowing-cutscene)

Why it seems that i give so much importance to Ephemer and Skuld? Because if you remember, when the saga about Ralph’s world started, Ephemer admitted to MC(the last person he should talk to) that the Keyblade War actually happened. Hell! It’s stated that Ephemer and Skuld are monitoring MC by asking to MC’s Chirithy to report to them if anything happens...and Chirithy reported that MC having nightmares/asleep-flashbacks about the Keyblade War...

It showed that Ephemer and Skuld care deeply about MC’s mental health but without actually confront MC...

so yeah while MC is keeping inside the new things he recently learned about the War, he is doing (willingly/volunteered) an “esplorative mission” into a new world that managed to get connected to Virtual Daybreak Town(and yeah, MC knows also about this) while trying to chase and hunt down one of the strongest/versatile kind of heartless we know(because the Darklings can “merge” with anything around and increase their power)

My concern is: Okay the thing that the Union Leaders are talking about a concerning thing(which let’s remember, it’s a known thing since forever for us players) but MC who was having nightmares about a horrible war that he fought and almost died during it, is running around a new world never explored by anyone but himself, completely unsupervised....after he learned some shocking facts and maybe i’m obsessed with realism and okay the game is made by Square-enix with Disney’s collaboration...but am i really the only one concerned for MC/Player and his possible PTSD or his fall into the darkness because of his trauma is being “neglected”???

I wonder if it's possible that Brain/Blaine is Eraqus's ancestor. Despite not knowing what happened in khux yet, I can assume that every Dandelion except for the leaders have continued their lives and Brain/Blaine was no exception, maybe he was the reason that no one knows the full story of the keyblade war.

Since they're all in a simulation I wonder what would happen if said simulation just..... stopped working. Who's to say something won't happen to it? The place is already getting rife with glitches. And the only ones that we know for certain got out are the ones we already know about, plus the Foretellers. So, it's possible no one else ever leaves the fake Daybreak Town...

But anyway! I was sure it was confirmed Eraqus was related to one of the Foretellers, but apparently not! Who knows, not me! The second I hear conflicting information, I don't believe anything anymore. If it is one of the Dandelions then I'd say Brain is a possibility tho. His fate is unknown so far and they do have similar hair colors. It's possible that doesn't mean anything tho.
