okay, so! i know everybody was watching ki live, and if they weren't will soon head over to atmoplex on twitter to check, but if you prefer not to endure the twitter demons, (and since i was very very very engaged this ki live), heres a wrapup!

new gearsets were teased as pvp rewards, all knight's armor type gear, and all stitchable. in terms of purchasing them, you aren't gatekept by school.

the spring test realm will be coming "soon" -- not next week, but "soon after".

a new out of combat system is being introduced -- something called cantrips! the video for promo-ing cantrips showed a new type of casting of a unicorn in battle, but a majority of examples were out of battle casting, with animations such as dice, some.. weird scissors thing, little light shows, etc! it was called a "social system" by the devs, and i recommend you find and watch the full promo because its VERY exciting.

the dyvim va had a brief riffing with fans and crew. he did a joker laugh and a ringtone reading. it was very good. he said he looked up dyvim content to get him through the pandemic (?).

just as we've slowly been finding out, most kingsisle v.a's were yanked off the streets.

"more companion interactions" have been considered for wiz, i think. i spaced out for a second during this bit.

a new housing system may come out towards the end of the year.

ratbeard also talked about "new game modes" - more than pve hard mode and pvp age 5.

snow serpent is the most casted spell by all entities in 2021.

new houses will come out this year, from 3-5 new houses, assumedly at least one being karamelle or lemuria themed, including one called "open space" for housing lovers to build on.

they MAY tease concepts/teasers for the new world in development soon...

For those who haven't watched the full Kingsisle live yet, here are the important bits regarding Pirate101 and it's future.

-KI is currently in the hiring process and putting together a team for Pirate. Since it's been 5 years since the last major update, the team is made up of newer employees who have never touched Pirate101, so the next few months will be dedicated to learning the in and outs of the game.

-The team would like to put more side activities like fishing, crafting, and monstrology into Pirate101. But because Pirate and Wizard use different codes they can't just copy and paste them over, so if/When these activities do come, they will likely be their own unique kinds of thing.

Every member was also asked, "If you could change or add 1 thing to Pirate101, what would it be"

Falmea: "An event system like Wizard. Not exactly bringing the deckatholon or Beastmoon event over from Wizard101, but something new to do ever week in Pirate."

Ratbeard: "My answer might be a little bit of a cheat, but I would have all Wizard101 players go over to Pirate."

Blind Mew/Curator: "For me it would also be side activities. Maybe not even events, just more for players to do in general. A bunch of ideas have been thrown around in the past that I think would work really well."

Joel White(product manager): "I would love if the cargo system made it".

Sparck: “Anything that gets the players to come together. So a yes to side events but also social systems.”

Falmea then goes on to say that side activities is probably where Pirate101 is going to go first, at least short term.
