everybody knows
i wanted to know if we were making a rainbow now bc the last two tour posters are different colors vs the first two tour posters so i gathered them all together bc i wanted to see if there was a pattern
the thing about satoru is that he's such a slut for attention and of course, making you happy makes him happy. so when you tell him something that you find attractive, he makes sure to always do it from then on.
e.g. checking his watch for the time instead of his phone:
"hey, babe, babe. ask me for the time." (he's giggling btw)
and then, pulls the most dramatic show of tugging his sleeve up slightly to expose his watch and glancing at you to make sure you're watching before checking the time.
cue his goofy dumb grin when he realises you are
"He's just my Tammy. And by that I mean it was never about him, but about me."
Will Was Not Saying that Mike's his "Tammy" in the sense that he's just a silly random crush.
He's saying Mike's his "Tammy" in the sense that he doesn't need to rely on Mike anymore to validate himself.
I love the van scene as much as the next person, but remember that was him admitting that he needed Mike to make him feel like not a mistake.
And this line was a Callback to that. It was him addressing that old part of himself, and showing how far he's come.
He no longer needs Mike like that. He knows he's not a mistake, or a Monster, or anything of the part. He doesn't need Mike to feel that way anymore.
And there's a beauty to that.
Especially after very blatantly showing with Jancy that "needing" and "codependency" rot relationships after time.
The fact that Will no longer feels this way? Is a sure sign that when Mike and Will do get together, they will Stay Together. The fate of their mental states no longer rely on whether or not the other loves them back, or needs them.
It can be a healthy, mutual bond.
what if?
