The hair for runway 2 at @philly_fashion_week . . . GET THE LOOK We flat ironed hair to a smooth finish. We then applied a small amount of @milbonusa’s HUMIDITY BLOCKING OIL throughout the hair. Next using a 1 inch flat iron we created soft waves on the right side from the eyebrow to the bottom of chin, keeping the hair straight from the mid shaft to the ends throughout the rest of the hair. Next we created a section on the left side from the hairline to behind the ear & swooped it over across the entire front of the head using @milbonusa’s MOLD WAX #7. The hair for @philly_fashion_week’s Runway 1 GET LOOK After we created a center part, we flat ironed tresses smooth to a bone straight finish. We applied a small amount of @milbonusa’s HUMIDITY BLOCKING OIL throughout the hair to prevent frizz or any swelling of the hair. Next we took a super small section of hair around the center part (the size of a large needle) & wrapped 2-3 individual strands of tinsel around the hair & knotting them at the root. We repeated this step until the desired amount of tinsel was placed. When then cut the ends of the tinsel to match the length of our models hair. Next we sprayed a small amount of @milbonusa’s STRONG HOLD HAIRSPRAY #7 on a comb then lightly combed through the hair to rid of any flyaways. GET THE LOOK . . . Get Roped! The hair for the #streetwear show at @philly_fashion_week . . . GET THE LOOK We began by parting the hair on the right side of the head at the arch of the eyebrow. We used a small amount of @milbonusa’s MOLD WAX #7 for grip to create our straight back cornrows in that section on the right side of the head. We then flat ironed the remaining hair straight back away from the face. We then applied @milbon’s HUMIDITY BLOCKING OIL throughout that section. Next we brushed this section back away from the face to create our low, tight pony at the nape, (including the braided section)using a generous amount of the @milbonusa’s MOLD WAX #5 to lock pony into place. Next we smoothed @milbonusa’s MOLD WAX #5 about 6 inches down the ponytail for more control and proceeded to wrap corded white rope around the hair in an intricate design. We flat ironed natural tresses smooth, Then we applied a few drops of @milbonusa HUMIDITY BLOCKING OIL throughout the hair for shine. Next we applied @milbonusa’s MOLD WAX #7 generously to the perimeter & center, brushing smooth away from the face toward to nape in preparation for our tight twisted chignon. We then wrapped hair with an elastic band to secure the hair. Next we created medium sized multiple twists to the hair using @milbonusa's MOLD WAX #5 to create shape & control then we wrapped the individual twists around the elastic using mini bobby pins to lock hair in place. To finish our chignon we used @milbon’s STRONG HOLD HAIRSPRAY. Working with the hair’s natural texture, we sprayed a small amount of @milbonusa DRY TEXTURE SPRAY in the roots to create grip in the hair. Next we brushed the hair upward & forward away from the nape. Next we divided the hair into 3 sections from the eyebrow arch to the nape. We then created 1 inch sub sections (in our sections) and knotted each section connecting each knot from the nape to 1 inch behind the hairline. Next we smoothed the remaining hair around the hairline creating a wispy finish.
