☃ //what even
My character has accidentally taken a potion turning them into a child, with no recollection of adulthood. Send ☃ for them bumping into your character while in this state.
If she’d learned anything from her father it’s that Templars were scary and they’d do anything to harm a mage. The little elfling scrambles back quickly, green eyes widened in fear and terror at the sight of him over her. She’s all by herself out in the Emerald Graves, having to crawl back away to get further from him. “P-please — d-don’t….” Mihtriel puts her hands up in her defense.“Don’t hurt me.” Her small voice squeaks.
{ halcyonisms, thoseofthedas }
She's skittering across the courtyard, ducking to avoid anyone she might bump into. The little elfling had just followed the procession from Haven to Skyhold, alone in her ventures across Thedas. Mihtriel might have magical capabilities, but at the age of eight she was far from good enough to even begin to grasp her abilities correctly. Today was no different. Mihtriel's shaggy blonde hair flaps and bounces with each stride, ragged clothing hanging off of her small frame. She's just avoiding the cook's wrath after nabbing a snack, her destination someplace up on the ramparts. She hardly makes it there when she bumps and collides with someone's leg - tumbling and rolling to a stop. Fearful, she scrambles away only to back up into a wall. "S - sorry!!"
Little thing
Send “Little thing” and my character will tell you something as a child.
She tries her best to be strong - crossing her arms and puffing out her chest. Though her tiny voice betrays her, squeaking and raspy when she spits back at him. “I’m strong enough and I can beat you up, shem!”The elfling protests, face twisted into a defiant frown.
Little thing
The elfling is scrambling away from him before she picks up a rock and holds it tight, knuckles white and a dirt-smudged face. She’s got an absolutely furious expression plastered to her face, downtrodden in a frown and a glare. ”Don’t come closer! I’m going to protect my clan!”Her voice is strong, but the intimidation is lost with her tiny, raspy voice and small frame.
Innocence
Message me with ‘innocence’ and I’ll write up a prompt for our muses meeting for the first time as children.
A tiny elven hand clings tight to a much, much larger apostate’s. Little, boot-wearing feet kick up more dust than the larger’s footsteps beside her. Mihtriel absolutely loved getting to travel with her father. She learned so much about magic when she was by his side, and in return he taught her how to control it and fight with her own sword too. Still on the smaller side, the six year old trots beside him. ”Be careful — go see if you can spot some food while I find the inn.”Mihtriel nods dutifully up towards her blonde-bearded father. Turning, her shaggy hair flies back slightly when she takes off through the small Anderfels town. Humming a tune to a song her mother often sang, the tiny elf observes each passerby with intrigued green eyes. She looks like a young boy, escaping any grabs that some humans might make at her for a young elven servant. But she takes off around the corner again after watching a cat dart off. The little mage grins, hoping to lure it back to the inn for the night when she skids to a halt. A younger boy stands, the cat in between with both clearly mirroring the other’s thoughts. She stops - wary. They’re stuck staring while the cat slinks off. ”It’s your fault the cat ran, you know.” Comes a fiery spark - the little Dalish crossing her arms.

The younger boy who didn’t appear to be quite old stood before her. Heat from the sun was being drawn into his black slacks and long shirt as he stared at the little elf girl who snapped at him. Eyes widened as he appeared to be shock at the sudden outburst. Taking in the surrounding area, realizing that he had wander off the path that would take him home to his master. Looking at the girl once more who appeared to not backing down and to the bag he carried, he had gotten quite a bit of loafs of bread for the house and he figured they wouldn’t notice if one went missing. A smile appeared on his face as he grabbed a loaf of bread and offer it to the girl. “You want some, miss?”
Mihtriel was only about six herself - as fiery as the magic she'd recently discovered. Realizing that the other probably didn't mean to step her way, she loosens her tiny fists and huffs. Her head turns away, arms crossed defiantly. "I don't need your food." She grumbles. To be honest, all of the stubbornness was fear. What would happen if a much older human came along? Mihtriel's mindset was that she had to act tough so that the boy could tell anyone else that the Sebrae clan was not to be messed with. Turning back, green eyes stare him down. "What are you doing so far out here?" The little voice adds, puffing her chest out.
Little thing
The elfling balls her hands into fists, frowning. ”Go away! I’m not afraid to fight you!” Mihtriel snaps up at him.
