This fic make me change my mind about reading historical AU, this’s masterpiece :) I love Wintershieldshock + Darcy/kid!Natasha interactions. And Loki, yeah, Tasertricks definitely has chemistry even unintentionally ;)

This had to have been a test. Something her handlers set up -- but what on earth was the point? She didn't have orders, supplies, an objective -- she didn't even have clothes. A baggy shirt was used to cover her tiny body, stolen from the owner of the room she had woken up in. 

She swallowed hard, keeping the fear deep down and not on her face in case she was being observed. Fear was weakness, weakness was betrayal, betrayal was death. 

The first thing she had to do was figure where she was. What country. Who she was surrounded by. Then, find a weapon. 

She pushed the door open and looked up and down the hall before letting herself. No matter where she was, no one would attack a child on sight, right? Still, she was hyper alert and vigilant for other's.
